À propos de ce logement
Welcome to the estate we lovingly call, "Compound Joy"!
The tree-lined, dappled sunlit approach to our property on Mt. Twin Sisters feels like you are entering a mystical and magical land. As soon as you set foot on the property, your whole family or group will smile, feeling right at home in casual comfort and elegance.
With 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, you have your choice from king-size bed with adjoining bathroom privacy to 6 bunk beds for the kids or others in your entourage. Perfect for a family retreat, your own version of "The Big Chill" type of reunion, or group spiritual journey.
In fact, the house decor is intended to evoke peacefulness, energetic renewal and conscious expansion.
We're on 20 acres, so expect all the quiet and privacy you can fathom... and enjoy the panoramic views of Suisun Valley.
We're 20 minutes drive from downtown Napa, only an hour from both San Francisco and Sacramento. Local wineries are within a 5 minute drive. The local Jelly Belly factory is a few miles away and great fun for kids of all ages! From June through December, nearby Larry's Produce is a throwback to a simpler time of getting fresh, locally grown food at prices that will make you smile. Trader Joe's and Safeway are about 10 minutes away. The highly rated, Mankas Tapas & Steakhouse, is also only a mile away.
The solar heated pool is sheer delight (in season). Given our unique micro-climate on Mt. Twin Sisters in bucolic Suisun Valley (rarely found in the Bay Area), you may enjoy a warm summer evening stroll or dip in the pool or soak in the hot tub under the stars. Large kitchen area connecting to indoor dining room makes meal preparation a fun social event. Or grill outside and have your meal outside on the deck or poolside.
We have wi-fi internet access, 60 inch TV, DVD player, iPod ready speakers, ping pong, tennis court, basketball hoop, outdoor kitchen with gas grill, built-in charcoal grill and 10kw solar panels to make Compound Joy your very own playground as well as sanctuary. And if you appreciate wildlife, we have regular visitors including deer, wild turkeys, hawks (and doves!), hummingbirds, rabbits and lizards. Feel free to hike our 20 acres or walk up the road for breathtaking views.

Originally from New York (Long Island), I've been out in Bay Area 30 years. Used to manage money in the stock market, now focused on the wealth that money alone can't buy. I love to sing, dance, laugh, play and meditate. We've hosted buddhists monks, spiritual retreats and some amazingly delicious parties. Come on over and add to our and create your own legacy! Whole lotta love... Stu
