Sand Dune offers cosy, comfortable living accommodation, with the lounge bi-fold patio doors opening on to it’s own small, but private garden area, south facing – a real sun trap! 1 bedroom, lounge, Kitchen and bathroom. Private access and off road parking on our driveway. Fresh contemporary decor, home from home with a sea side feel!
Ideal for 2 guests - ONE BEDROOM leading off the lounge, with double bed. Wardrobe and drawers for clothes storage. Window looks out on to drive way. One travel cot can be accommodated in the bedroom, although space and comfort is compromised.
LOUNGE - On a warm summer day the lounge and garden merge, with the bi-fold patio doors folding away to bring the outdoors inside! Comfortable seating in the lounge, including sofa bed* and chair, + smart TV. Warm sunny aspect makes this a great relaxing space.

BATHROOM with large shower, spotlessly clean, modern decor.
KITCHEN, leading off the lounge. Well equipped with cook and table ware. Dining table and chairs. Kitchen window south facing, looking over garden area.
Facilities include dishwasher; hob and oven, microwave; fridge freezer; vacuum cleaner; iron and ironing board; indoor fold away clothes airer; Smart TV; free WIFI; hairdryer; outdoor airer for drying clothes etc
External shared laundry facility ( coin operated washing machine and sink for hand washing).
Dogs – One small well behaved, non moulting dog is welcome in Sand Dune, £10 per week/part week additional charge. Please scroll down to 'Other things to note' for more information.

Bi-fold doors open from the lounge on to a decking area, with two steps on to the lawn with gravel edging. The garden is fenced and safe for children and dogs. There are 2 sun chairs, and a picnic bench for outdoor eating and BBQ’s on those long sunny days! Out door rotary airer for clothes hanging, access to hose pipe for swilling wet suits.
External shared washing machine (coin operated) and sink for hand washing.
Guests are welcome to borrow beach gear - wind breaks, buckets, spades, crab lines, beach mats and body boards ( all on a first come first served basis). There is also a selection of games (and toys for our younger guests!), with a couple of books about local wild life and flora. We have a wide selection of leaflets in the main building, with idea's for places to visit and family days out.
Outside facilities include off road parking at the front of the property for one car per apartment. More parking or parking for larger vehicles can be arranged, but must be requested at the time of booking.

We live on site - always happy to help, but only if you need us!
Our pets (cats, guinea pigs and dogs) live with us, in our own apartment on site, although of course our cats and (feral) guinea pigs will naturally wander through the garden and decking areas, including Sand Dune.
Outdoor areas Unsuitable for ball games and bike riding.
Newquay Airport is less than a mile away, not Heathrow of course, but guests can expect some air traffic during the day!
We welcome 1 small, non moulting and well behaved dog, in Sand Dune, although we do ask that you let us know if you would like to bring your pet, at the time of booking. There is an additional charge £10 per week/part week for furry guests. We also ask that your dog is kept under control at all times, and is not left alone in the garden, apartment, or allowed on the furniture and bed - thank you! Please also be aware that our guinea pigs do wander in to the garden in Sand Dune.
Towels and linen are provided, beds made ready for your arrival. Replacement bedding and linen is available on request during longer stays, £5 per guest.
WIFI is free. Although service can drop out occasionally - we run our business with very few issues from here! Mobile phone signal is poor, but signal returns just a few meters away.
Strictly no smoking indoors. Smoking is permitted outside at the front and rear of the building.
We are a family establishment, in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. We welcome couples, singles and families. Sorry - no stag or hen groups, no single sex event/party groups. Strictly no smoking.
Please consider our neighbours and other guests at all times, and we politely ask that noise levels are kept to a minimum, just as you would in your own home - thank you!
There is one parking space per apartment, on our drive way. Guests are asked not to park anywhere else.
We are very sorry, children are asked not play in the road / lane adjacent to the apartments as this does not belong to Kernow Trek

Hello! We are Andrew and Rosie Pearman. We have lived our dream of living in Cornwall since 2005, running a very busy and successful B&B here at Kernow Trek Lodge. We have hung up the frying pan in 2014, and converted our home, Kernow Trek, in to 4 self catering apartments. We have four wonderful children, a gorgeous little grand daughter, and we all love the chilled Cornish way of life, our gorgeous beaches and breath taking views, that turquoise sea and everything Cornwall!
