Callistemon View is a beautiful house built for indoor/outdoor living with the entertaining areas opening to undercover wrap around balconies. One of the many features is the architecturally designed infinity pool and cabana area, which is both a day and night outdoor living space.

This is a private resort style retreat – a great house for the gathering of friends. Really easy living, beautiful hinterland views, bathed in sun all day.

Callistemon View has 4 bedrooms plus 5th sleeping area in separate lounge/living space. The main bedroom is expansive and enjoys a king bed with en-suite. The other 3 bedrooms have queen beds and the 5th sleeping room also has queen bed. All high comfort bedding and luxury linen. High quality furnishings throughout.

The house is equipped with Foxtel, Wifi and Sonos.

Winter months – June, July & August
$750 per night or $4,500 per week (3 night minimum stay)

All other times of the year
$850 per night or $5,500 per week (3 night minimum stay)

Plus a $150 cleaning fee per booking.

There is a Caretaker onsite living in a cottage that's completely hidden from main house. You won't know they are there unless you need their assistance for something! Your privacy is not compromised at all as the second house is separate, down the hill and out of view.

Please note that all our homes have no party policies as noise travels to neighbours easily in both residential and hinterland areas. No extra guests are allowed to the houses and noise levels are to be respectful at all times. There is to be no outdoor music or outdoor entertaining after 10pm.

Noise complaints will result in bond deductions and possible eviction. We apologise for being so strict but noise is a serious issue in the Byron Shire and keeping our neighbours happy is of paramount importance.

Please note that this property has a strict no parties policy. Even though the house is visually very private, noise travels to the neighbours easily.

As such, no extra guests are allowed to the house. Noise levels are to be respectful at all times. No outdoor music or outdoor entertaining after 10pm. One noise complaints means a $250 bond deduction and a second noise complaint can mean loss of full bond and being asked to vacate immediately.

Sorry to be so strict but noise is a serious issue in the Byron Shire and keeping our neighbours happy is of paramount importance.

Please ensure dishes are washed and put back into the correct cupboards. The BBQ must be thoroughly cleaned before departure to avoid excess cleaning charges. Charges will apply if the property requires extra cleaning due to the dirty condition in which the property has been left. This will be calculated on the number of hours required over and above the normal cleaning time. If extra washing or dry cleaning of furniture is required these will also be charged to the tenant. Replacement of linen/towels maybe required if they are beyond saving and stains cannot be removed.

Any booking to be discovered to be a Schoolies, Hen’s or Bucks booking will result in instant eviction with loss of any remaining rental as well as the security bond deposit.

We visited sarahs place for a mini family get together, I was originally a little hesitant to stay so far away from byron bay but once we got to the house we did not really need to leave nor want for anything. The pool, table tennis and surrounding property provided plenty of opportunity for everyone to keep themselves entertained especially the four kids. I even discovered a nice little cafe just down the road for my morning coffee fix. If I had to nit pick the wireless is not the fastest but to be honest I was very happy that I had a great excuse to relax and not work. We also had a little bottleneck sharing only two bathrooms among 10 people but again not really a big deal. This home is a solid entertainer and everyone from age 5 to 85 had a great experience and we would definitely revisit this wonderful home.

We enjoyed a wonderful mini-break at Callistemon View and only regret that it was not longer and the pool slightly warmer, as even though it was the middle of winter who could resist not swimming in such a magical pool. The home is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a wonderful sun filled holiday. The peace and tranquility wonderful and the early morning vistas over mist filled rolling hills to the coast are priceless. Perfect!

The house and the area that the house is in is fantastic, it is the perfect place to get away from the city and just unwind. I would stay at the house again in a heart beat. The house is just the right distance from Byron bay to be close to all the action but far enough to feel like you are really in the country.
