We were very impressed with the specific instructions on how to park, enter the gate, unlock the house and get settled into our room. Allie left us a nice note, breakfast items, and touristy books about LA right at hand. The house was incredibly clean and well furnished, and the neighborhood was very nice and seemed incredibly safe. We had to walk a mile back from the Rose Bowl at night, and we didn't feel like we were in danger or anything. The building complex had grills and outdoor seating. There is a skateboard park just outside the condo building that was rather noisy even after dark. This rental is simply a room in the house, though, and another couple rented after us to use the other room in the house, so we wondered if Allie and her family would've been there if they hadn't rented their room out as well. The bathroom is across the hall upstairs, so that might've been awkward had they been there. There is an additional half-bath downstairs, though, and that was very convenient. We slept on a fold-out, on-the-floor couch-like thing, and while comfortable, it was not a normal bed. All in all, we had a good experience with this rental, and Allie was very communicative and helpful.
