Truly beautiful home in a beautiful location - the photos of the inside don't do it justice. Jim has done a beautiful job with this house - it is clean, comfortable, and warm (which was amazing in the cold, snowy weather). We loved the large beautiful kitchen and spent the majority of our time there. The driveway is downhill and gravel - in the snow, our front-wheel drive van had some trouble and we needed to push it out of the driveway. Absolutely nothing against the house or host - but if you're heading up in the winter months, it helps to be prepared!

I am a professional archaeologist with a passion for historic preservation. My wife grew up in Cragsmoor and together we lovingly renovated this historic 1860s farmhouse where we lived for 8 years with our children. The endless expanses of nature, the silent nights, and the warmth of our neighbors were some of our favorite aspects of life on the mountain. Now, we open our doors to you in the hopes that you too can enjoy all that Cragsmoor has to offer.
