The apt is a bright and beautiful - a modern designer flat located in a historic building that was once the "Hotel Canada" since the 1960's. The apt is situated at the beginning of the "Carre d'Or" and only a few steps from the sea side, the beach, the Promenade des Anglais, the Jardin Albert I, Rue Paradis for shopping as well as Nice old town. Under three minute walk to Place Massena, 5 minutes the old town, the Cours Saleya, and literally only a minute away from the beach. It is truly the perfect "pied a terre". The apt is in a pedestrian zone, so very calm as no traffic allowed and restaurants below need to close around midnight. High end amenities and incredible location. And absolute value for the money.
There is a super comfortable queen sized bed (160cm x 200cm) with fresh linen and a balcony. On the mezzanine, there is a king sized bed (140cm x 200cm) with a great view to the sky.
Other features include a completely renovated bathroom incl. shower, 100% LED lighting, a large flat screen 3D LED TV and high speed Internet. A modern kitchen with everything needed for cooking the occasional meal. Air condition / heating and ample closet space. Natural wood like stone tile highlights - and - did I mention the patio with a "vue mer laterale"? :)

With public transportation just around the corner you can easily get to Monaco, Saint Jean Cap Farret, Antibes/ Juan les Pins, Cannes and much more in no time at all.
In case you are looking for a parking space, the garage from the Interparking Ruhl garage, close to the Hotel Le Meridien, is just around the corner. Alternatively, you could park in the street around the corner or leverage the Europcar garage just at the beginning of the street - which is also very convenient should you be looking for a rental car..
Also, in case you prefer indoor gym - there is a "fit lane" gym just across from the building. In case you are in need for a spa treatment, a swim or a printer - you can leverage the Hotel Le Meridien facilities just around the corner.

There is a parking garage (RUHL Parking) just around the corner from the apt; A bus stop is just in front of the Meridien Hotel - taking you to the Airport in just 25min for 6 EUR (Bus 89).
This contract is for the hire of accommodation by the persons named on the booking form and for the specified period only. We do not nor do Airbnb accept third party bookings. The Client is responsible for making the travel arrangements and is advised to take out comprehensive travel/holiday insurance that includes cancellation coverage and full coverage for the party's personal (website hidden) residents are also advised to carry a European Health Insurance Card, which replaced the E111 as of January 1st 2006.
The booking is for the dates shown on the booking form. The apartment is available after 15:00 hours on the day of arrival and must be vacated in a tidy and hygienic condition by 10:00am on the day of departure. This is to enable the Property Manager time to prepare the property for the next visitors.
Normal check in is at 3pm. Alternative check in times can be arranged at time of booking if possible. All check ins after 7pm local time are automatically charged a service fee unless we have agreed to the later check in time at time of or prior to booking. Further more, by accepting this booking you agree to pay an additional service charge of €50 for check-ins after 19:00 or, any time over one hour later than our agreed upon check in time. Check-ins after 22:00 (10pm) local time agree to pay an additional 50 euro. Normal check out is at 10am. Alternative check out times can also be arranged, if possible. We are very flexible but again this must be agreed to at time of booking. In the event you plan to check out before 9am you can simply leave the keys on the kitchen counter. Late check out fee is 50€ per hour after the first half hour grace period. There is an additional service fee of 50 euro for check ins occurring between the hours of Midnight and 5AM, this means 150 euro total.
***We are flexible however, Alternative check in/out times MUST be agreed to prior to booking and are subject to availability, Thank you*** Guests are solely responsible for communicating any travel delays that will effect your arrival. Guests with PROVABLE travel delays, such as delayed flights, will be able to check in at any hour however, there will still be a flat 50 euro charge.
Acceptance of this booking signifies acceptance of all booking conditions here to in. The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. The Client is responsible and liable for all damage or breakages during their stay no matter how minor, whether accidental or negligent and, are required to replace or pay for all damage/breakages. In addition to any deposits paid to Airbnb, a cash key/damage deposit of €100 is required at check-in. This amount is in addition to the €400 deposit held by Airbnb. However the sum reserved by this clause shall not limit the Client's liability to the owner. We ask you to respect the apartment and all its contents for us and all of our guests. If you have broken an item, you must notify us ASAP so that we can ensure that the next visitors receive the full benefit of a complete apartment. The agent reserves the right to retain the security deposit to cover additional cleaning costs if the Client leaves the apartment in an unacceptable condition.
The Client accepts that the apartment owners, their agents or employees shall not be held responsible or liable for any accident or injury to any members of the party or visitors, howsoever caused, nor for loss or damage to any personal goods or property, howsoever caused.
The Owners are relieved from liabilities if the apartment should become unavailable for any unforeseen circumstances. In this event, a refund may be made; limited to the maximum rental fee paid by the Client to us. In addition, assistance will be given to secure alternative accommodation. Under no circumstances shall the Owner's liability exceed the amount paid to the Owner for the rental period. This apartment is offered only for holiday rental and subject to confirmation. Clients found to be using this apartment for anything other than a holiday rental will be asked to leave immediately as per our private property rights in France.
These terms and this contract shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with French law. You agree that the French Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute that may arise out of, under, or in connection with these terms.

Hi, Am originally from Germany, travelled a bit and came to Zurich around 10 years ago and then decided to stay for good in this great city... am outgoing, like good company, being outdoors with friends, sailing, cooking, having dinners, music, movies, diving if time permits.. etc. My "Nice - Pied a terre" is a second home base for me, which am renting out occasionally.
