À propos de ce logement

This is a natural reserve near Santa Marta. The mayor part of this reserve is protected and only a small part of it is for us to live in and our guests.
Here you will be surrounded by nature and relaxation. In the reserve we have animals, medicinal plants, pristine river, a restaurant and ancient Tayrona History. The room doesnt have a kitchen, but we have restaurant services.
As we live in the forest, replying might take a bit longer, due to our weak internet connection.

Description

This is a natural reserve near Santa Marta. The mayor part of this reserve is protected and only a small part of it is for us to live in and our guests.

The accommodation is for a maximum of 4 to 5 people (4 beds) in a tree-house located in a natural reserve near Santa Marta. The tree-house is in a Mango tree next to the river. Basically you will be falling asleep with the sound of the river every night. We have also a balcony with a view to the forest. Some time during the year you can see the bids building their hanging nests from the balcony and eating mango from your own tree.
This accommodation has a bathroom and a shower on the ground, however we don't have a kitchen. The reserve has his own restaurant.

Board games
Auto-guided- tour through the reserve
Books and a small museum (here you can sit and read/ relax)
Restaurant (offering balanced food)
Hammocks
Indigenous huts (built by the Kogis)

We are a private and family owned natural reserve. It is a small reserve, but very nature orientated. We always look forward to welcome guests from all over the world, who are interested in spending some time in the nature and relaxing. Just having a pleasant and good time with us.

We live in a zone called "El Paso del Mango". In this region we are surrounded by farms which cultivate Coffee and Cacao. You can also visit a farm specialized in permaculture.

When visiting the neighbour farms and doing small day trips, its walking and trekking.

To get to the reserve is either by moto taxi or 4x4. Please contact us and we are happy to give you more information.

It is important for you to know the cellphone reception is very bad. Nowadays, we consider this to be one of our attractions.
Please be aware, we are located 11 km away from Santa Marta only access with an off road, therefore driving to Santa Marta can take sometimes up to 1 hr.

As a traveler: Traveling and enjoying nature is one of my passions. I have lived in many different places and always been open to new things and people. Another passion is food. not so much for cooking ( although I am quite good at it ) but more eating.
Through Airbnb I have found one of the best ways to travel outside the tourist road and giving me the feeling to be at home in new place.
As a host: it's interesting and exciting meeting new people from different countries and even better to be able to show my guests the beautiful side of the Colombian nature. I am unbelievably grateful for the guests I have had the possibility to meet and connect with. Welcome to my little paradise.
