How ridiculous to say you did not know that our holiday home was in the Vitalhotel leisure complex! That is a main feature and joy of staying there! Free use of the hotel's pool and sauna and other facilities are the reasons we bought our studio, and why everyone loves staying there!
We are English owners and our Airbnb listing is in English, so is our own website, so don't be surprised if you find everything written in English. We told Philippe we are one of many British owners of private homes there, and that his welcome is at reception, who are expecting him. The hotel needs to know who is in the building for safety reasons and they have to collect tourist tax off every visitor, including our guests.
Wifi is in the reception area and bar this year, and next we hope to introduce it upstairs in the private block. All of this is stated in the Airbnb listing and on our website and on the info we send everybody staying.
Our cleaning fee of €35 is for fresh bed-linen and towels, and for preparing the studio for guests, and cleaning it. Guests are respectfully asked to remove their rubbish and place it in the recycling centre downstairs. It is our holiday home, not a hotel apartment, and is not the responsibility of the hotel. Our manager on site is Rita, and she is there in case of any problems we need to sort out as we live in England. We suggest Philippe and his friend should have read the info we provide more carefully, and use (Hidden by Airbnb) Translate if in any difficulty in future. OK?
