Description

This room is a bright and charming room in the historic area of Mt. Airy. The room is one of 3 in a 7 unit converted mansion. It features high ceilings, a bay window and a sun porch with french doors. Comfort and style!

Private bedroom with tons of natural light. The room has room darkening curtains useful for the mornings that you would like to sleep in. Cozy bed, blankets and pillows all ready and in place. Space to unpack so you do not have to live out of a suitcase and wifi access for planning your trips around the area.

You will have access to the bedroom, private sunroom, a shared full and a half bathroom, kitchen and living room.

I can be available to let you in, show you around (upon request) the area and give you ideas on where to visit in the city. I am a self proclaimed foody, love craft beer and wine bars as well. I enjoy the outdoors and know of parks and historic/tourist places to visit while in the city.

We are located between Manayunk (ideal for great restaurants and a short cab ride to bars which are 21-25 age range for night life!) and Chestnut Hill (also a short cab ride, very quaint and charming (older crowds). The inner city (Northern Liberties/Old City) is my go to spot! I can suggest places in nearly every part of the area - please don't hesitate to ask.

Public transit:

There is a bus line as well as a train stop (R7 - Chestnut Hill West) that goes directly to the city center in 25-30 minutes. It is a 3-4 min walk down the street to the train. The closest bus stop is on the street in front of the house.
Plenty of street parking if you're driving into town.

I love traveling - I am slowly tackling the world! This year alone has been a big one for me. I love meeting new people, seeing new places and finding the heart of any city. Usually avoiding the touristy spots, I find myself making friends that live where I visit to take me to their favorite food, drink and fun places.
