In general Copenhagen is blessed with a great metro system, which takes you not only around the city but also to other neighborhoods as well as to the beach, the aquarium, and the airport. Also, we have a wide net of subway trains taking you through the city and to most suburbs e.g. the lovely Deer Park and the Hermitage Palace just north of Copenhagen.

To find out how to get around with public transportation i Denmark you can use (URL HIDDEN) - works great.

Most visitors buy a city pass:

The City Pass gives you unlimited access to buses, trains, metro and harbour buses in zones 1 - 4, which includes the centre of Copenhagen and to and from the airport. My boyfriend and I found our stay at Andreas' place to be amazing from start to finish. The apartment is situated close enough to the core of the city that accessing the main area is easy (the apartment is right near a train stop), but far enough away that you aren't right in the mix of the hustle bustle. The neighborhood of the apartment is lively in the daytime (there was a small street festival outside when we were there) but very quiet at night. When we arrived Andreas' offered to pick us up at the airport which was awesome since it was our first time in Denmark, and then even took us around in the car to show us some of the key areas! He had a wealth of resources about Copenhagen & tour companies ready on the table at the apartment to help us plan our activities for our stay and maximize our time by not having to seek the information ourselves. He even messaged me later on after we had settled into the apartment to let me know of another one of his favorite neighborhood cocktail spots he had thought of and wanted to let us know about it! On our last day we had a mishap with our alarm clock which caused us to be late for the airport, and as a result we had to leave a few unwashed dishes behind but Andreas' was so understanding. Overall, we found the apartment to be exactly as described and excellent value - we felt right at home. We will definitely be recommending Andreas' spot to our friends.

We stayed for a long weekend in Andreas' flat. It is modern, light and very clean- just like in the photographs. There are a few bars and restaurants and a supermarket on the street where it is located. The city centre can be reached by bus (which runs approx every 15 mins) or by bike (which can be hired from various places throughout the city). Andreas was extremely helpful before and throughout our stay. Highly recommend:)

We had a great stay! Spacy apartment with a comfortable bed, a nice balcony and a cool dinner-place. Equiped with everything you need. Andreas was very welcoming, he prepared us with all the practical info we needed such as maps and so on, and gave us good tips on how to enjoy Copenhagen to the fullest. Traffic outside might be a bit noisy, but only if the windows are open towards the street. Other than that we loved it!

Journalist living in lovely Copenhagen. I have been living in both Amager, Nørrebro and Østerbro, but have found my home in Valby. Lovely part of the city with all the best of Copenhagen just around the corner. My hope is to make you feel like home in the greatest city I have ever met. Experience it.

Kind regards,
Andreas
