A quarky studio apartment (25 m squared) in a great location. Ideal for a single or a couple. Clean, quiet, and in a safe part of Vienna. In a historic building with high ceilings and some historical features. Recently refurbished and very functional. Self-contained, it has all basics that you need and when you need. Brand new and very comfortable double bed. Walking distance to Schönbrunn Palace, Zoo, TU and Stadthalle, and less than 15 minutes to the city centre by underground.
Modern apartment, ideal for a single person or a couple, located in a quiet, residential street, 15 minutes from the heart of the city.
A brand new double bed for two adults is available. There is also a large 3-seater folding sofa bed, which can be converted into a king-size double bed for two more adults to sleep. This makes it possible for an adventurous group of close friends or a modest family to stay in the apartment. However, please note that the apartment is small and both beds are in the same room. So if there are 3 or 4 people, and when the sofa bed is fully extended, there is plenty of space for sleeping, but the space for other activities will be restricted ! The total area of the apartment is 25 metres squared.
A good news for families is that infants under 4-year-of-age stay for free - that is better than any commercial airlines!
The apartment is kept clean, but the house-keeper is not very tidy and sometimes leaves a few items of clean clothing in the wardrobe, but there is still plenty of space for your clothes etc. If anyone is prepared to clean the apartment to a higher standard, you can earn €15. Just ask for a cleaning discount at the time of booking.
The standard check-in time of 12:00 h and check-out time of 11:00 h apply. However, if you let me know in advance, earlier check-in or later check-out times are often possible, and are free of charge.
Arrivals after 22:00 h and before 8:00 h are discouraged. If you think you may arrive after 22:00 h please let me know before booking, and I will try to accommodate your request if possible, but remember that there is a late arrival fee of €25 after 22:00 h and €40 after 24:00 h, to cover late travelling costs.
This is a private, self-contained apartment, which consists of a well equipped kitchen (but no dish washer), a dinning area and a living room with a very comfortable double bed, plus a double sofa bed, a shower enclosure next to the kitchen, and a separate toilet room, which does not have a sink, but there is a tap in the shower room and a sink in the kitchen.
Towels and bed-linen are included. A limited amount of leaflets with information on local events and places of interest is usually available, but it is recommended that you use your electronic devices for up-to-date information, or bring with you a detailed map of Vienna.
If you fancy going to the city centre, the nearest underground stop on Line U3 is only 2 min walking distance, which takes you directly to the heart of city, the Stephan's Platz, Opera, Museums, University, Danube... in less than 9 minutes.
A daily ticket for public transport costs about €4 and allows unlimited use of all modes of public transport, including metro, bus and tram.
Motorists, however, may be unpleasantly surprised by the cost of parking in Vienna. It is also sometimes hard to find a parking space, and parking attendants are ultra-vigilant. If you are lucky to find a parking space on street outside the apartment it would cost you €2/h between 9:00 and 19:00 h. A much more convenient option would be to park in the Park and Ride at Hütteldorf Garage (approximately 4 km from the apartment), where you can park for a daily fee of €3.40 or €17.40 per week, and use public transport instead. Underground stop, line 4, is directly below the Park and Ride. However, if this is not convenient, there are a few garages within walking distance (the nearest is 500 m away), but they may cost more.
This is a non-smoking apartment. Please also respect your neighbours and quiet night time between 22:00 and 8:00 h.
Arrivals between 22:00 and 8:00 h are not possible, unless specifically requested and approved prior to arrival.
I would appreciate if you would leave the apartment in the same condition as you find it on your arrival. Thank you very much:)
Otherwise, make yourself comfortable and make full use of the entire apartment. Have a pleasant stay in Vienna!
