The location right at the oceanside between the beautiful colonial zone and the buzzing city center make it a perfect spot to go discover the city.

The public transport in Santo Domingo will most likely not meet your quality standards (unless you use the metro). The public taxis and buses are regularly overfilled and are not air-conditioned.

I would suggest you move around in private taxis (3-5 USD per trip within the city) or find a personal driver.

Le logement que nous avons réservé initialement étant occupé par une personne (désirant prolongée son séjour) nous avons gracieusement accepté le nouveau logement (Torre Nicole) proposé par Mitch. Selon Mitch ce logement était beaucoup plus luxueux que le logement que nous avions réservé. La propreté de ce logement laissait à désirer... De plus certains éléments manquaient: fer à repasser et torchons. Mitch ne nous a jamais fourni ces éléments qu'il était censé nous apporter le lendemain de notre arrivée. Enfin, La Torre Nicole n'ayant pas de piscine Mitch nous a proposé l'accès à une plage privée avec piscine. La veille de notre venue à cette plage privée, nous avons averti Mitch de notre désire d'y passer la journée. Celui-ci a donc validé notre demande. Lors de notre arrivée sur place ( après 1h de route) nous avons due attendre 1h30 sous le soleil afin de pouvoir accéder à cette plage car l'établissement n'avait pas été averti de notre arrivée!!! Pour finir, le jour de notre check out,nous avons demandé à Mitch de faire venir la femme de ménage à 14h et non à 12h. Celle-ci est arrivée à 12h30 et nous a dit qu'elle n'avait pas été prévenue du changement d'horaire. Le check out s'est ensuite fait sans Mitch car il était en retard. En conclusion notre expérience dans ce logement a été très moyenne.

Mitch, the property manager, and myself would like to present our perspective on Juline's stay for your consideration. Previous to her arrival we offered an optional upgrade free of charge which would allow another group to extend their booking in the originally requested more economic apartment. We were glad to hear that she'd accept the offer so we could cater to both tenants in the best way possible. To be more precise: Her upgrade included an apartment that rents at a 50% higher price than the one she had requested, free access to the pool she originally requested and a free day pass to a luxury condominium in Marbella (Juan Dolio). Juline is new to Airbnb and likely had some disproportionate expectations with regards to what service level to expect from an Airbnb stay as well as the apartment itself. We love to help out where we can and give helpful advice. However, we are not able to offer a hotel concierge type 24/7 service. Please read the reviews of other tenants to get a broader perspective. The property manager simply ended up being unable to cope with all of the demands.

nous avons reçu un accueil très chaleureux , le personnel de l'immeuble est très respectueux et professionnel..notre hôte bastjan a été vraiment parfaitement convivial et a fait preuve d'une excellente collaboration, c'est une personne très recommandable.

The apt was strategically close enough to the colonial city and close enough to downtown Santo Domingo. The apt could be noisy in the afternoon, but we, my kids, my wife and I, spent a lot of time at the pool, and outside walking in the colonial city so we didn't really care. The coffee maker was broken, but the host was quick to replace it with another one once I reported it. Wifi was very useful. And the host was very cordial and helpful. I loved that I was able to watch the World Baseball Classic the same night I got there. And having your own parking space was a huge plus.

This apartment was vey beatiful, from having large bedrooms, to having a bathroom in each bedroom made everyone stay comfortable. Also the location of this apartment is in a excellent spot. Right in the middle of alot of restaurants, bars, and malls it was a perfect spot to relax and have a good time in just walking distance.

The listing is very accurate and my family and I had a very pleasant stay in this awesomely located apartment. Access to santo domingo main places from this location was key. The view is great, the wind is amazing, also a very safe zone to stay. I would note that when I was staying there was some construction going on in the apartment below. The noise did not bother is too much since we were up early to explore the beaches and the city. overall a great place to stay, I would stay here again!

Wonderful location and host. Extremely accommodating on all ends. Beautiful open space with great winds all day no need for air conditioning. Great big kitchen if you'll be doing some cooking as I did. Loved it so much stayed an extra week.
