Lovely simple room in 160 year old contemporary designed interior family house. Close to pubs, restaurant, 15 min's walk to historic Charlestown Harbour (Poldark is filmed there), 20 min's walk to Porthpean beach. Accessible, clean & friendly. Wifi. We take a pause from airbnb'ing during November until late April each year, but from spring until autumn we have a room if you need a place to stay.
The room is a rarely used/guest room containing double bed, desk, drawers and small TV upstairs where all the bedrooms are and the shared bathroom. Clean and pleasantly laid out with minimal white lacquered wood furniture and seagrass floor. Access to a host of lovely places to eat, walk to, see and do.

Due to being a designer I'm about, usually on my laptop around the house as I juggle projects around the world online, you probably won't notice me. Always on hand if needed though. My partner is here from time to time, although her work involves her being away a lot. I have two children.
We have a couple of sleepy cats. Garden to relax in - although it's a project I've still got to get to, so it's pretty basic out there. If you are good with green things you are more than welcome to help out:) I have two daughers who are around some of the times subject to clubs.
No shoes upstairs, no smoking, recycling in the kitchen if needed.
1) To be respectful & considerate.
2) Recycle packaging etc where possible (box in the kitchen)
3) No smoking or drugs in the house. Wine etc. fine:)
4) No shoes on other than kitchen and lower hall way, outside.
5) Please turn lights off when leaving a room.
6) Be considerate with water usage.

Graphic designer, father of 2 amazing girls, lover of all things sea and coastal. Surfer, cyclist, doodler, doer, eco-conscious and if I actually sit down for a few minutes when not designing I can usually be found reading something by Neil Gaiman.
I'm very easy going, relaxed person, who tends to travel off the beaten path with Tibet before it got opened up to tourism, being one of my most amazing places to have visited. I also mountain biked the Camino across Spain, love living in Cornwall and so much to do no matter the weather.
I'm definitely about being the change you want to see in the world.
And a bit of Ferris Bueller's - Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around for a while, you could miss it.
Pleased to meet you and have a nice day.
