Away from it all but only 10 minutes walk to the village pub across the fields. Walking and cycling straight from the front door. We had the most wonderful vacation at Alice and Michael's. the farm house is quiet and lovely and charmingly decorated. There are plenty of hikes at your door step, and, in season, the heather is blooming all around you. Ten minutes walk to a great pub and lovely little village. Highly recommended. Would not change a thing.

Very peaceful place. Great for birdwatching. Smashing house and lovely rooms - request the room with the vaulted ceiling. Very helpful and kind host.

A wonderful place to unwind ... a comfortable and welcoming home with sweeping views from the garden and over the fields. Alice is a gem and can't do enough to ensure your stay is enjoyable, from providing delicious breakfasts with home made bread and jams, tea in the garden with home made cake and herbal teas made from the garden herbs in the evening. Rooms are large and comfortable, with flowers and books. Truly special.

A lovely farmhouse with fabulous views; it combined comfort of plump pillows, rural location and efficient plumbing. Breakfast was lovely with home made bread.

Lovely night on edge of moors, Alice offers a very good level of service. Only problem of note was if you bring your dogs they are not allowed in the house, so are left in the barn. Our house dogs were a little grumpy at this but survived a wind night in the stable block. Other than that great breakfast and easy to sort.
