This apartment is located in a low rise building within minutes walk of many of the major attractions that Ottawa - Canada's capital - has to offer. The kitchen comes with 4 appliances and in-suite washer-dryer. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and the 2nd bedroom has a double bed.

It is ideal for professionals looking for short term furnished accommodation or for vacationers looking for a spacious, comfortable and convenient place to stay while exploring Ottawa.

It is walking distance to Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of National Defence, US Embassy and University of Ottawa. Major attractions within walking distance include Parliament Hill, National Art Gallery, Canadian Museum of Civilization, Convention Centre, Royal Canadian Mint, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and parks, etc. The lively Byward Market offers you world class restaurants, arts and crafts, shopping.

1.The Landlord has the right to inspect the property without prior notice at any time to enforce the terms of this agreement. Should the Tenants violate any of the terms of this agreement, the rental period shall be terminated immediately. Tenants waive all rights to process if they fail to vacate the premises upon termination of the rental period. The Landlord may enter the residential property in case of emergency or at the request of the Tenants for a repair or maintenance issue.
2.Tenants shall maintain the property in a good, clean, and ready to rent condition, and use the property only in a careful and lawful manner. Tenants shall leave the property in a ready to rent condition at the expiration of the rental agreement, defined by the Landlord as being immediately habitable by the next Tenants. Tenants shall pay for maintenance and repairs should the property be left in a lesser condition (e.g. excessive cleaning required).
a.This is no smoking and pet free unit. If smoking or pet smell is detected, an additional cleaning fee of $200 will be charged.
b.Only use appliances for their intended uses.
c.Do not discard foreign objects in the toilets. If plumbing service is required, Tenant is responsible for the cost of service call.
3.The Tenants expressly acknowledge and agree that this Agreement is for transient occupancy of the Property, and that the Tenants do not intend to make the property a residence or household. If Tenants failed to leave the Property at the prescribed date and time, a fee of $500 will be charged.
4.The Tenants shall use the property for legal purposes only and other use, such as but not limited to, illegal drug use, abuse of any person, harbouring fugitive, prostitution, etc., shall cause termination of this agreement with no refund of rents or deposits. The Tenants shall not sublet the property.
5.All of the units are privately owned; the Landlord is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the property. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all Tenants are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the property or others whom they invite to use the property. People other than those in the Tenant party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property.
6.The Landlord is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Tenant. The Tenant should purchase their own insurance for Tenants and Guests if such coverage is desired.
7.Cable TV is provided and service level has been chosen by the Landlord. No refund of rents shall be given for outages, content, lack of content, or personal preferences with regard to cable TV service.
8.High speed wireless internet is provided as a convenience only and is not integral to the agreement. No refund of rents shall be given for outages, content, lack of content, speed, access problems, lack of knowledge of use, or personal preferences with regard to Internet service.
9.The Tenants agree to pay all reasonable costs, attorney’s fees and expenses that shall be made or incurred by the Landlord enforcing this agreement.
10.Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate.

Sven was ultra responsive and super helpful. We also had a minor change of plans at the very last minute, but he was more than accommodating. The place was perfect for the conference we attended. Thank you so much Sven!

Sven was exceptionally helpful, informative and responsive. We found the apartment suitable for business colleagues because of the separation of bathrooms and bedrooms, but it would be great for a small family as well. The location is fabulous the and secure parking was a big plus. A really great experience.

My wife and I enjoyed a week in Ottawa and found Sven's apartment to be the perfect home base for our vacation adventures. It was clean, comfortably appointed and functioned well. The location is superb, as its smack in the middle of most of the area's activities. Sven was an excellent host, well informed of the area and helpful with quality dining suggestions. I would not hesitate to rent Sven's apartment again, should we return to Ottawa.

Perfect apartment and location for our trip to Ottawa for the marathon. We were two couples staying in the apartment and found it to meet our needs perfectly with two bathrooms, two sets of keys, comfortable living area with full kitchen and air conditioning, and quiet at night.

Sven was an excellent host--prompt, informative, helpful and very accommodating to changes of plans. After we left he was diligent about finding and returning a valuable pen that had fallen behind the bed (thanks again!). The apartment is very well-maintained and comfortably furnished, and perfectly located for all the attractions around the Market and Parliament Hill. Definitely recommended.

Sven was great- he waited for us due to flight delays and right away made us feel at home. The description of the place was very accurate; the place was clean, great size bedrooms with two bathrooms and the location was amazing. Very close to all the great food with tons of restaurants, Bars, transportation and all the Byward Market has to offer. Sven was very helpful pointing us in the right direction for supermarkets where we got everything needed to enjoy cooking breakfast in the morning. The place is also very close to the Park and the lake. Evening stroll along the canal was minutes away and awesome. For the remainder of our trip Sven gave us total privacy which we were appreciative of. I would definitely like to stay there again next time I'm in Ottawa and recommend Sven's place to anyone traveling there.

What a great apartment! Beautifully situated in close proximity to restaurants, shopping, the National Gallery, Parliament, and U Ottawa. The layout was perfect for two couples, and the suite was nicely appointed: eclectic art and a well stocked kitchen. The balcony was a lovely space for morning coffee, and we settled in very comfortably in the evening. Sven was a gracious and helpful host. I would highly recommend this rental.
