I grew up in Toronto but am here in BC because who doesn't like rain 161+ days in a year? ^-~
Unlike before where I'm able to explore the city with my many wonderful guests, my outings with guests are now extremely limited due to my demanding full-time job (plus a full-time bf..yikes...lol). But as busy as I am, this will not stop me from hosting!
It's been awhile since I started hosting and boy does time fly by so fast.. I am grateful for awesome guests since day one. I choose to continue hosting simply because it makes-me-happy, it's what energizes me. Relocated here alone without a job and not knowing anyone was tough. Airbnb was my survival income to help with rent living in this ridiculously expensive city. What started off as a financial subsidy quickly became something more valuable. Airbnb broadened my world and offered me a chance to meet some very kind and generous people. I am grateful for the experience Airbnb has given me, the fond memories and friendships I've discovered is now my sole reason for continuing with hosting.
My goal now is very simple, I hope to be able to offer a clean, simple and safe place for visitors to enjoy BC.
To my lovely guests who are checking back, I said I would post pics so here goes, yes, I did "the chop", I had a bob cut! LOL! -two 16 inches and two 13 inches long ponytails were donated to the Canadian Cancer Society :D
For those who actually made it this far and read all of the above, congratulations, you are a very patient person :)
