If your travelling on foot, getting anywhere from this location is a breeze. The Canada Line is down the back alley [literally] and bus routes going east or west are across the street. It's just far enough out of the city that your out of the rat race, but close enough to feel moments away from the action. Located between Main and Cambie, and surrounded by heritage homes, it makes an afternoon stroll with a coffee feel like being in paradise. Parks, Sea Wall, Grocery stores, Bars, amenities, and retail outlets are all within crawling distance. Whenever I travelled, convenience was key. If you want to drop your bags and get moving, this is the spot. If you want to drop the bags, shower and rest, well that's perfectly fine as well.

Any questions you might have, I'd gladly answer as best I know how.
Keep in Mind there is construction across the road. (Out of my control but living in a booming city, this is standard).... Just need to make that clear if you're super noise conscious during working hours.
You'll find if you stay in this area of the city that the whole "Mount Pleasant" area lives up to its title. Main and Cambie street run parallel and I'm right in the middle. Whether you go left or right coming out of apartment, you'll find yourself on two main veins that provide tons of entertainment. Head south and you find yourself @ the beautiful manicured Queen Elizabeth Park. If you head North, you'll be in the heart of the city. The False Creek [Olympic Village] area is literally a skip down the hill by foot or by bike. If you land down there, you'll be on the sea wall and close to some great watering holes. Granville Island is a bit west of Cambie but still frighteningly close, the Sea Wall winds seamlessly along the shore and drops you off at the local market. None of these spots necessarily trump the other, so if your here for a good stay, you'll have time to see them all. The best part about this apartment [if you twisted my arm] is that it runs along two very central transportation lines, so it makes getting around town an effortless task. Location Location Location.
- Most of these are common sense, but I'll re-iterate them so there's no confusion or miscommunication between host & Guest.
- No smoking inside or within 30 feet of building.
- Regulate volume in apartment, nothing crazy after 10pm.
- No access to rooftop, non negotiable.
- Be a good sport, have fun in the city and treat the place like you would your own.
- Keurig and subsequent coffee's during your stay are on the house.

I'm a prototypical Canadian. Meeting new people is one of the best things that come with age, and hosting anyone in your home is a real and tangible way of going about it. My parents are a wonderful, kind hearted couple who run a Bed & Breakfast outside of the city. They've had so much fun going above and beyond for their guests that I felt it was time I share my spot with those looking for a sweet pad in the heart of Vancouver in the hopes of doing the same.
I spent a good amount of time playing hockey throughout the USA and Europe during my early twenties. I studied English and Human Kinetics throughout my University career. I love the game of hockey with all my heart and I love living life the best way I know how. Most of everything is completely out of the average persons control, but how you treat others, and how you respond to life's challenges are a test of where you came from and what your made of. Hopefully the use of my humble abode can make your stay in Vancouver a memorable one.
