I always wanted to stay in Kampung Ayer and I was certainly very pleased to have experienced it at Kem's place. My mom and sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, hospitality and friendliness of the hosts and people in Brunei. We had a wonderful breakfast and the home is very clean and welcoming for us. We ate a lot of local delicacies, fish, fruits, and of course took a lot of pictures. The speedboats zipping in and out of the canals and river toward Brunei town was enough to sit back and enjoy the activities and cool breeze on the spacious verandah of the home. We visited the markets, museum, walked the boardwalk and saw the unique homes that made Kampung Ayer a memorable experience. Most of all, Andrew was very hospitable, full of stories and gave us tips of places to visit during our short stay. Certainly a highly recommended place to stay.

It's a really nice experience staying in a house on stilts in the Brunei River. It's accessible because of the water taxis (costs 1 BND per way). It's just around two minutes from Jetty 2 to the mall. It has a clean bedroom and toilet (eastern and western) and shower. Kem is really accommodating and even granted the request of an early breakfast and leaving our bags due to our Temburong trip. They also have a fast wifi. Really loved our stay.

The place is awesome, it offers different style to stay. it's unique, as you'll stay right above the river. Luckily I'm looked like locals and I speak locals so I'm still able to use local rates for the water taxi to reach this place

Kem's place was the most authentic AirBnb experience we have ever had. Her place in the water village is absolutely beautiful with its view overlooking the river and the stunning Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque.
