We had a very nice stay here! The hosts were there to welcome us when we arrived, and met us back at the apartment for our check-out. They were friendly and businesslike. Some drinks and fruit were provided for us when we arrived, which was nice! The beds were very firm but we found them comfortable. Our absolute favorite part was the bathtub (with plenty of hot water -- turn on the water heater with the wall switch) that overlooks a quiet part of the old city if you open the balcony door. Overall, the apartment was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. There was a water boiler for tea, mini fridge, two-burner stove, and basic dishware, although we didn't do any real cooking.
The apartment is as pictured, although most of the exterior photos are from farther away in the neighborhood. The location is perfect. The street addresses on that street are a little confusing, but the hosts tracked us down on the street and showed us the place. The location is extremely convenient to the downtown area on foot, although if you have a car with you (like we did) you should be aware that it will be challenging to find a place to park--the immediate neighborhood cannot be accessed by car. The area is secluded and residential but with a few restaurants in walking distance, and the rest of downtown within a few more minutes' walk. We found it a bit loud at times with the windows open, as the building is on a walking path to downtown -- kids were out playing soccer in the evening, and merchants were rolling carts down below the bedroom window starting at 6am. It would have been fine with the windows closed. The neighborhood is slightly rundown in spots but seemed very safe and pleasant.
