Neighborhood / Location:
The apartment is located at the junction of a few fantastic downtown Manhattan neighborhoods, situated in south Gramercy just 3 blocks north of the East Village and 2 Avenues away from Union Square! The nearest subway is 3 blocks away -- the L train at 1st Ave and 14th Street. Or the 4,5,6,N,Q,R subway trains in Union Square are also just a 5min walk away.
You can walk to a gazillion hip restaurants / bars / cafés / farmer’s markets etc in the area and easily access everything else in New York City from this centrally located flat.
My apartment serves as a conveniently located Manhattan launching pad with a bit of style and all the creature comforts you require!
Absolutely no smoking inside the apartment or building.
No parties or loud music
My neighbors are sensitive to noise, so I can’t allow parties or loud music. It’s a quiet apartment and quiet building.
NO SMOKING inside my apartment or in the building!!
Help yourself to whatever food I have around within reason. Have a beer or drink on me, but if you’re going to drink a significant amount please buy your own. I’m sure you’ll use common sense! Thanks.

I grew up in Bethesda, Maryland and then studied at the University of Michigan with a major in film. I still love to shoot and edit short videos for my family, but about 10 years ago I got into the commercial real estate industry while living in northern California. I now own a small property management business in New York City that specializes in retail shopping centers, office buildings and multi-family. I also put together partnerships to buy commercial property.
I loved California, but it’s great to be back on the east coast near my sister and three crazy nephews who also live in Manhattan and my parents that still live in the DC area.
Recently I’ve been trying to work less and take more adventures. This year I've been to Austin, TX, Park City, UT, the Hamptons in NY, the Deleware shore and Istanbul, Turkey!! I recently started using airbnb as both a guest and a host. I’m hoping to do some more serious traveling this year!
