Right next to Qutub Minar, Sameer will welcome you in a cozy place, in a quiet area. Communication was super easy and Sameer was more than happy to share his knowledge of the city me with. I would definitely come back.

I had an amazing time staying at Sameer's studio. From the beginning, he is great at communication. He booked a car to pick me up from the airport to take me to his place, which was super helpful. He also booked a car for me for the day to travel to Agra (and then bargained down the price for me). He can also tell you about art and culture in Delhi and is doing some great art himself. The space itself was great. Te room has a private entrance from the rest of the studio, and was clean and spacious. He even keeps a small fridge stocked with bread, cheese, drinks, etc. to make you feel more comfortable. It has a nice little balcony, too. Although not in a "touristy" area, Lado Sarai is conveniently located: 20 minutes from the airport, right across the street is Qutub Minar (world heritage sight), close to Saket metro station (about 1 km away), and has lots of art galleries in the area. The metro is easy to use and can easily get to some of the markets such as Dilli Haat and Chandni Chowk on the same metro line. However, Uber works very well in Delhi and is cheap. Additionally, if you have questions about anything, Sammer is always available to be contacted for help, and he's more than happy to do so. When I come back to Delhi, I'll definitely stay with Sameer again.

This is my first time travel to india, dehli is the first city on my itinerary of the visit.and sameer's house really had give me a good impression at the beginning. the room I had booked is very clean, spacious, with the balcony, the hoster prepared nearly everything for the guests, warm and cold water, napkins,(even the hair bund)fridge, all the toiletries ect.(URL HIDDEN)sameer consider things very thoroughly,it let my journey really comfortable and easily:)he is a very enthusiastic hoster, and always care about my safty when I went outside for visiting the city, really really nice guy.!and he has a great sense of humor, very happy to talking with him. and sameer's helper is very attentive,he noticed every details about my habits, and try to do better next time, example:he made a cup of tea for me and give me the sugar and lemon separate. Then I drink the tea with lemon . And on the next day,he had put lemon into my tea already, just what I'd like to have! Overall I would highly recommend this place and I look forward to returning in the near future.

I booked this place for 2 nights but ended up staying for 5. Sameer was extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I wanted to know a different side of Delhi away from the regular tourist circuit and experience the contemporary scene. Sameer´s studio is right in the confluence of hip new art spaces and galleries with Hauz Khas close by, loads of archaeological sites and parks, restaurants and commercial areas in Saket, and a very traditional and authentic village life. Movement in and out was so easy with the metro (great system if you haven´t used it) and auto-rikshaws everywhere. Woke up early one morning and crossed the street to the Qutub Minar -a spectacular World Heritage Site you must see- and caught the early morning. Make sure to wander the vast (and free) archaeological parks in the vicinity to encounter great birds and random Mughal ruins everywhere. If you´re into photography, the arts, and nature, get ready for longer walks than you expected. For plugging into the contemporary scene Sameer was key in telling me about cool destinations, restaurant tips, and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) groups. There´s loads happening in the city and I think that staying in Lado Sarai has many advantages. I could hop onto the metro to visit the national museum, come right back to a calm and clean environment, and go out at night without being overwhelmed. The room itself was exactly what I needed. I´m a private person and like to have my own space. As the description shows, the room can connect to Sameer´s studio when it´s open, but has its own entrance. During the hot days, I read comfortably next to the balcony and also caught up on some writing. I appreciated that the bed was comfortable, the room dark with good AC so I could sleep in, and a shower with pressure. Sameer´s helper gave me a continental breakfast when he arrived around 9, but sometimes I woke up earlier and headed to one of the cafes in Saket or next to the Qutub Minar for my morning coffee. I definitely recommend this place to any independent travelers looking for comfort and to do their own thing. Make sure to check out the art and craft studios and try the fresh juices. Also, when in doubt about something, just ask Sameer.
