Apartment VIOLA is 10 minutes from Diocletian’s Palace and a 3-minute walk from Marjan Hill. The apartment is air-conditioned with free Wi-Fi. It has a private garage/parking space, also free for my guests. The car/ van must not be more than 186 cm high because of an iron bar above the entrance door in the parking spot. So, for all normal cars are ok. If it is higher it is imposible to go into the parking spot. Not for van.
From Marjan Hill, guests can enjoy a panoramic view of Split and the surrounding islands. Split’s train station, bus station and ferry terminal are all 15 minutes easy walk from this appartment. This apartment has its own garage and garden.
This apartment is full equippted. This apartment is situated in the old part called Veli Varoš which is a real soul of Split.
Split is unique in the world because of the harmonious way by which the annexes and partitioning of later centuries have transformed the ancient Emperor's palace into a city. This is exemplified by the Peristil, where within roman columnes and arcades, facades of the Romanesque and the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque houses and palaces were built. Other modifications over the centuries turned the Diocletian's octagonal mausoleum into a cathedral in which many works of art from the Romanesque to Baroque periods were added, including a Romanesque bell tower, which gives the city a vertical axis.
