Accès des voyageurs
We offer many of the attributes of a small HOTEL with the informality of a bed and breakfast, graded as 4* GUEST ACCOMMODATION by VisitEngland and boast of their Silver Award (2 consecutive years) and their Breakfast Award.
There is versatile accommodation to suit you - in house or self catering - so come and enjoy being well looked after in friendly, relaxed surroundings.
There is an attractive restaurant overlooking the garden to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Why not order dinner for the evening, too, unless you would prefer to eat out. We have some excellent tried and tested recommendations!
The gracious sitting room is a lovely place to just sit and read or do the ongoing puzzle – or come and enjoy a drink and a natter in the bar where an open fire that burns on cooler evenings (restaurant and residential license) or sitting in the small, pretty, secluded garden when warmer.

Michael, my husband, and I have run HARRRABEER COUNTRY HOUSE, guest accommodation and self-catering, since 2001. We have 2 grown up sons and every now and again we even manage to all meet up together, somewhere!
Most of out time is taken up with the 6 b and b rooms and 2 self catering suites - we love it! We are relaxed and easy going hoping that this will rub off on our esteemed guests! We run on small hotel lines: bed and breakfast and evening meals and love having a chat to guests at the cosy bar before dinner or over a cup of tea on arrival. Our self caterers are welcome to join us at any time too. However, when possible, we enjoy trying new restaurants, local pubs, local attractions, walks etc - we can then give you the best information of where to go and visit when you are in this beautiful part of Devon.
We are not open all year round as we feel it is important to refresh ourselves and live a little - we enjoy travelling to different destinations near and far. When you are with us we endeavour to give you 100%. When we are away we give ourselves .....not quiet as much!
