A love for Kauai is why we bought this beautiful, remodeled 2/2 end-unit in Princeville in 2015. It was previously occupied by a couple that lived there full time. It's right across from the Westin resort and the forest hiking trail to Anini Beach (note, it's a forest trail requiring mild physical fitness). Large screen TV/Cable, WiFi, phone, beach toys, etc. Quiet location away from the street; no one above or below you (it's a townhouse not a condo). Fully equipped kitchen.

Le logement

About 1300ft2, very spacious townhouse, two bedrooms with a cal king size bed in the master bedroom and queen size in the downstairs bedroom, a couch in the living room and an inflatable queen size mattress. We advertise this unit for 4 people but do not charge for extra people up to six, using the inflatable mattress. This was an "owners" unit until recently when we bought it. It was remodeled very nicely by the previous owners that lived in it, and is in great condition. Please note that the upstairs bedroom with the king size bed is designed as a very large loft. Please see the picture "Master Bedroom". Please note, there is no AC in the unit; none of these units have an AC and thus it's scratched off in the Amenities list. We do have large ceiling fans everywhere in the unit.

We have CableTV with 300 channels (though you should be outside, not watching TV) :), 30Mbps internet, AppleTV, WiFi, and unlimited US calling set up for you.

We've tried to provide for all the common beach accessories including boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling equipment, etc. Please understand that these are provided for free for your use, and we cannot always immediately replace an item broken by the previous guest (just not enough time). If you find that an item needs to be replaced, please do let us know immediately. The beach gear is stored outside, in the patio storage. There is a key hanging on the wall by the kitchen. There is a BBQ outside at the patio as well. This unit is at the end of the Puamana development, inside Princeville, right across the Westin, and right by the forest trail that goes down to Anini Beach.

Finally, please note that the airbnb price that is quoted per night includes the 13.42% Hawaiian GET/TAT tax.

We have a property manager that lives in Puamana so you'll always have access to someone. However, we're easily accessible over email to try to make your vacation a great one. Kauai is a magical island, we hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do with our families. There is a lockbox on the door so you can check in late at your convenience.

Autres remarques

** PLEASE PLEASE do not leave food out on counters, floor etc, including leftovers from the night before. Open food invites ants and other Hawaiian critters. All food should be in the fridge or in closed, sealed bags if it's out. PLEASE NOTE, and this is very important - the probability of encountering cockroaches in Hawaii is very high. They are not dangerous, and every development strays periodically, but they cannot be eliminated completely, especially in the north part of Kauai where it's very tropical. If bugs freak you out, please, just book a hotel room on a high floor, where the probability of bugs getting up there is lower.

** Please 'clean' the BBQ by letting it burn for about 5 min on high, after cooking and don't forget to turn it off afterwards.

** Please put back all beach gear in the closet as you found them and rinse them off from any sand.

** Please don't put clothes in the washer that have sand on them - hose them off outside first.

Condo is great. The tile floors keep everything cool. Space was perfect for my family of 4. Kitchen was well equipped and the host very responsive for not living in the area. The only negative for us was the pool was outdated and dirty- but the condo is planning construction soon so it should be cleaned and updated. We took advantage of the Westin pool which is very close.

This home was very comfortable and very homey. Love the kitchen and very spacious. Loved the location close to market and shops in Princeville. Overall would highly recommend this home to friends and family.

This was a great spot -- super location right outside Westin property and across from Anini Beach access. One of the best stocked kitchens I've seen in an Airbnb. We appreciated the great communication and TONS of beach supplies - towels, snorkel equip, chairs, coolers and more! There was an issue with the dishwasher but Peter provided great communication about the situation. Overall excellent communication, thoughtfully decorated, nice space with 2 separate guest spaces great for a family or 2 couples. We would stay here again!

Very nice place and great location. Apartment is very spacious and comfortable with plenty of adds on like barbecue place, beach chairs, coolers, etc., etc. Pretty much everything you need for summer vacation. What you see on pictures is what you get. Close proximity to the water was critical for us in our selection. This place is just 5 minutes walk to the Willie's beach that connects to to far end of the Anini beach or a short drive to the center of Anini beach if you do not want to walk up and down the trail of have too much beach stuff with you. Peter was very good in communications and quick to respond. I will definitely consider this place again in the future. Thanks, Eugene

Excellent location with all the amenities we would want. The location was close to the beach, restaurants and other tourist activities. Peter was terrific in communicating to us and recommending things to do. We had a fantastic time. Thank you!

What a great find! This home is spacious, comfortable, & in a great location. It was everything and more- plus affordable. I highly recommend this spot. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are large- great kitchen lots of appliances and the location is hard to beat.

Master suite on the second floor is spacious and airy with its own balcony, and lots of windows beyond the open stairway and hall. Kitchen is open to dining area and family room and contains everything one could need to be able to cook, bake, entertain. Great family getaway home.
