Le logement est super sympa, tres propre et moderne, c'est plus joli que sur les photos!!nous n'avons as passé assez de temps... on reviendra sans hésiter, Neil et Petra nous on facilité l'arrivée tardive et le départ tres matinal. Certe, il faut une voiture pour aller a Marbella et a Puerto Banus, mais le cadre est tres calme et verdoyant, il y a une place de parking au sous sol et un ascenseur!

Séjour excellent à elviria. L'appartement était excellent.Petra nous a très bien accueilli.Les plages à côté sont (URL HIDDEN) piscine très (URL HIDDEN) voiture est indispensable.Marbella et puerto banus sont à 15 et 20 min respectivement.

My family (which includes 2 kids under 8) stayed for 2 weeks in July. Overall we had a pleasant stay and Neil and Petra were really helpful in quickly sorting out anything we needed including some teething troubles (for example aircon not working properly on arrival). They also made sure the apartment was clean and fresh, and credit to the cleaners for doing a much better job than many other apartments I have stayed at on the Costa Del Sol. Thanks guys! The reason I can't give 5 or 4 stars is down to the property and not the hosts. I probably wouldn't stay at this apartment again more because it just didn't fit with a young family. Although the description talks about several pools in the complex, you have to cross a road to get to the main large pool. Not what you want with young kids. Also all the pools I visited in the complex were at least 1.5 metres deep, so too deep for kids that are beginner swimmers to swim confidently. The shallow pool was a small baby pool and not suitable for 4-7 year olds. And finally on the pools, the one next to the apartment whilst pleasant enough but had a real problem with wasps buzzing around the grass area and the pool. You have to be careful not to step on one and get stung. Whilst there is a sea view from the balcony of the apartment, people don't tend to mention the lovely view of the sewage treatment plant! I know this is an issue with some parts of Elviria as when the wind blows in the wrong direction you get hit with a strong sewage smell. This happened quite a lot over the 2 weeks. People in some reviews also talk about the apartment being walking distance to Elviria town. Definitely not with kids and even without it's quite a trek, particularly on the way back (mostly uphill!). On the positive side, the apartment is well laid out, light and airy, no real noise from neighbours, parking is easy, and once the aircon was fixed (very quickly) all the appliances worked fine. Overall it was okay, but if I could split the review for host vs. property I'd give the hosts 5* and the property 3*

The apartment is very clean, newly furnished, all in working order and exactly as per the pictures on the site. The air con works perfectly in every room. It's in a new development a little out of Elviria, not easily in walking distance, in fact about the only bar that's within range of walking is the local Santa Maria golf club. Friday night bbq at the golf club is a must, and they also do great breakfasts after about 10.30am. The swimming pool is lovely, perhaps not quite enough shade or sun beds, but is peaceful, clean and relaxing, unlike your average hotel. There are two balconies, and you can sit out on either one depending on the sun. The apartment is about 20 minutes from Marbella, which is worth visiting, and 35 mins from Puerto Banus, which isn't. We went down to the beach for dinner every night, which is a 5 min drive away. Look for Beach House if you want upmarket, Chiringuitos (Carlos y Paula) for great paella, Le Papillon for good service and nice beach area. La Perla Blanca was overrated and slow, but otherwise all of these are on the beach and have lovely views. For food shopping, Elviria has a Super Cor, which is better than Super Sol. There are a few bars and restaurants as well, but we chose to eat on the beach every night. Well worth going back to this villa. If it was a tiny bit closer to the beach or some bars we would come back every year, but it's perfect for families and people wanting a quiet time but they to have a car to be able to get around.

The apartment is exactly as in the pictures. We had an amazing time and Petra was incredibly helpful and nice through our stay.

We had a lovely time in Elviria! Neil's apartments were beautifully decorated and the views were spectacular! Neil very kindly recommended several places to visit and we enjoyed visiting them all especially The Beach House. Petra kindly collected us from the airport and was the perfect host during our visit. Would definitely book with both Neil and Petra again
