Relax on our wrap around porch and watch the hummingbirds and orioles frequenting the feeders. Fire up our gas grill and cook up some juicy steaks or a simple flame seared hot dog or burger. Savor a freshly picked organic tomato, pepper, or cucumber if you're here at the peak season. You're welcome to visit with us in our home as well. If you need to, you can also use our laundry facilities

Our house and it's surroundings offer tranquility and privacy. But there are always long term and short term guests, and sometimes family members coming and going. Your RV, of course, is your private space if you want to be totally alone.
If you're out and about grilling or relaxing on our wrap around porch you may bump into one of our other guests. But everyone here is accommodating and friendly.
Stays in the RV II is limited to 7 days and one occupant, no pets.
We only ask that you respect our home and property. If you smoke, please do so outside.

We live in the home we built and moved into in 1991. I am a remodeling contractor, licensed Illinois home inspector and a landlord. My wife has a house cleaning business. We enjoy traveling and meeting new people and hearing their stories. We've been to Ireland, Belgium, France, Germany and England, Canada and Mexico. We've also seen much of the U. S, traveling by car, plane, train, and most recently by wending our way through its back roads in our motor home. Since 2008 we've been hosting foreign students from China and India in our home, broadening our view of the world even more by looking at it through their eyes.
We love good food, my wife is a fantastic cook, and really savor eating out at good restaurants on occasion. We have a greenhouse and raised beds in our backyard where we grow organic vegetables during the spring, summer and fall.
We joined the Airbnb community in 2015 and have met some interesting and delightful people. We look forward to meeting you.
