Ocean front apartment in the best location of South Beach!
This apartment has been completely upgraded and is like new!
The building hallways and pool area were also renovated in late 2016
Directly on World Famous Ocean Dr and the beach!
A fully renovated apartment with great finishes and modern design.
Best neighborhood in South Beach, called South of Fifth Street (SOFI).
This is a quiet neighborhood directly on the ocean, very close to great restaurants, shopping, parks, large supermarket, night clubs etc.
Many very expensive ($10 and $20 million) apartments in this part of South Beach.
Only 2 blocks to world famous Ocean Drive restaurants and tourism spots. Also great shopping like Armani Exchange, Victoria's Secret Diesel, True Religion, Gap, Zara Equinox Gym etc.
Very close to Downtown Miami, Miami Heat, Wynwood the new Perez Art Museum.
TV with over 100 cable TV channels.
Cooking utensils, silverware
Bed linens, towels, beach chairs
There's a queen bed from Z Gallerie, with a ridiculously comfortable Simmons pillowtop mattress.
Also a comfortable sofa bed for up to 2 more people.
Keep in mind that the room isn't very large, so make sure you're OK with this if you're considering having 4 guests total.
2 blocks to world famous Nikki Beach restaurant/beach club, and Story night Club
Also famous Joe's Stone Crab, Prime 112 (where the Miami Heat basketball players and celebrities hang out) and a bunch of other incredible restaurants (some expensive, others reasonable). I'll be happy to make recommendations!
This is a LEGAL short term rental, so you can relax and enjoy your vacation.
Many rentals offered in South Beach are in buildings that are not zoned for short term and are only allowed 1 year rentals!
Please note that there isn't much of a view from this apartment, the picture of the pool and beach is included to show the scene just behind the building.
The view and lifestyle are fantastic as soon as you step outside though!
Please inquire about holidays and special event rates.
About the neighborhood, from NY times article:
"South of Fifth has emerged as the most expensive section of Miami Beach. A string of high-rise condos along the water, which were at the center of the struggle over the city’s development 15 years ago, are selling apartments for record prices.
Last year, a penthouse at one of two Continuum towers sold for $25 million, then the highest sale for an apartment in Miami Beach. In late December, a penthouse at the neighboring Icon tower sold for just under $21 million, a record for a bay-facing apartment in the city.
More than a dozen restaurants, including several considered the most exclusive in Miami Beach, have opened in the neighborhood, which is also home to the 18-acre South Pointe Park."

We are always available through the airbnb platform, cel phone or email
Early check in or late check out may available on a case by case basis.
Notice must be given when making the reservation and owner must confirm acceptance. From 1 to 4 hours will incur an additional $50 fee per occurrence. More than 4 hours there will be a charge of 1/2 the daily rate. and is available only if another guest is not arriving that day. We do ask that you are packed and your belongings are stored out of the way, as the housekeeper usually arrives shortly after 11 AM.
If you need to store your luggage outside your check in or checkout times, please go to the Luggage Lounge located at 235 9th Street. Teleph(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). They will hold your luggage for a small fee.
Here are a couple of more small details for your stay, that are not always obvious
- Please put all trash in the trash bins in the alley at the side of the property. This is a tropical paradise, and also a paradise for the native cucarachas, so please ensure that the apartment is free of all enticements to them upon your departure.
We often have very quick turnaround times. We ask that our current guests follow these simple house rules to enable us to prepare the apartment for the next guests.
To receive your deposit back without pesky deductions, prior to leaving the apartment:
- Please leave the apartment neat and tidy. In the process, it's likely that you will find the things that you might otherwise leave behind -( ticket, money, passport!!) :)
- Just leave the sheets on the bed, and it is not necessary to do the laundry before departure unless the spirit moves you, and then please leave a note, and we will send you a tip, ha ha.
- Please wash and put away any dishes that you may have used. It is important so as not to attract the afore-mentioned bugs.
- If any item is broken or damaged, please notify us immediately! Often is not difficult or costly to replace when we have enough notice and oftentimes we may even disregard it. Our wine glasses are cheap, and we expect some attrition. BUT it is often very time-consuming and expensive (You've seen the prices for stuff in South Beach!!) to replace those same items at the last minute, and it can be a big inconvenience to our next guests when they have to share a wineglass. Failure to do notify us of broken or damaged items, can result in a forfeited portion of your deposit.
MOST IMPORTANTLY!!! All keys and pool fob must be left in the apartment at departure. Lost keys will be a $100 charge, please be careful!
Also, if the pool fob gets wet (ie: if you go swimming with it!) it will be damaged and cost $100 to replace (that's what they charge us).
Do not ever place pool fob in the lockbox, they can be lost this way.
If not present in the apartment when the housekeeper arrives, the lost key charge will apply.
The check-out time of 11 AM is strictly enforced, unless prior arrangements are made. Again we typically have quick turnaround times for arriving guests. If you require a late departure than 11 AM, or an earlier arrival than 3 PM, it may be possible to book the extra hours for a small fee. You may even want to book the extra day, so you don't feel rushed, so please inquire!
We really hate to have to withhold any deposits from guests and rarely need to do it. Almost all of our guests are so delightful, and very many become friends, and return to our apartments year-after-year, some with substantial discounts!
But when the basic rules are not followed, it can make things so difficult for our cleaning person, and it can also greatly inconvenience our next guests.
Our wish is for you to have a wonderfully unforgettable stay at our apartment in South Beach. We want you to enjoy your vacation as much as possible, and we do everything in our power to ensure that you have a great time! Please help us by following the house rules, so that we can best prepare our for our next guests, to ensure that they have a wonderful vacation as well!
Thanks so much, and Enjoy South Beach!!
I'm a South Beach local of 20 years.
I love it here and I'm happy to be able to help others experience my paradise!
I'm a total music fanatic, eclectic taste ranging from Dire Straits to Killing Joke, lately some Florence and the Machine, M83 and other "underground mainstream" (if there is such a thing)
Like to play drums and design sounds when I can, mostly Industrial.
Reading Stoic Philosopher Seneca lately (you should check him out!), and the bible always.
Love watching a good foreign film (even a mediocre foreign film for that matter, over a domestic one).
Favorites include "Kontroll" (Hungary), "Dogs Will" (Brazil) "City of Men" and "City of God" (definitely Brazil) "Bibliotheque Pascal" (Hungary)(I'm beginning to notice a pattern here)
When I get my own act together enough I want to operate an orphanage in an appropriate third world city to give some kids a chance at a nice life.
Trying my best to live spiritually while keeping one foot in the material world.
Restore motorcycles for fun and ride a Ducati Monster pretty much every day.
Novice videographer with large aspirations, barriers to entry just disintegrated!
Not in it for the money, so I can't go wrong.
I enjoy visiting the Caribbean and South America to keep things in perspective. Helps one realize how much we have while also reminding how little it takes for people to be happy.
My life motto would be "What's Next?"
