À propos de ce logement

Located in the pretty coastal village of Avoch the Black Isle. The property looks over the small harbour built by Thomas Telford in 1814. The house was renovated from a fisherman's net store in 2005. Now decorated with an eclectic mix from my travels.

If the instant booking will not let you book, please contact me, whilst in summer I do mainly weekly lets, I can be flexible. Week bookings are possible instantly, anything else I need to fit into my schedule.

Le logement

The original net loft has become the living room on the upstairs floor. Fabulous views, wood burning stove, tv with freeview and lots of books. Also upstairs is the master bedroom, a bathroom and a dressing area which can be used for a child's bed or a cot.
On the ground floor there is a great large kitchen with range style cooker, table and 6 chairs and futher seating area

Accès des voyageurs

The house is all yours, I have a small adjacent apartment, which is accessed through it's own door. I am however seldom around as I work away and have a house in Inverness, the area is mainly used for storage.

Échanges avec les voyageurs

Whilst I am seldom around I am always at the end of the phone or on email. I have a great knowledge of the area and of much of Northern Scotland. I am happy to help you plan days out, tell you where to get the best afternoon teas and when to go for pictures of the dolphins... Just ask, if I don't know, I will know someone who does.

Please note that there is a road outside of the property, this has a 20 speed limit but children should be supervised at all times.

A terrific house with a great scenic outlook. Looking across the bay was very restful. The house was huge, with multiple areas for activities or just lounging around. Parking was right beside the house

This house is a wonderful retreat. Situated directly on the waterfront it allows for some lovely views. In the early evening you can watch anglers landing their catches. The village is in very short walking distance and features a coop, chinese and indian takeaway and a fish and chips shop. Elaine was very helpful and easy to reach. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

Fantastic! A beautiful hose in a beautiful little village in the Highlands. 20 mins from Inverness so ideal for a family trip to find Nessie! We will be coming back!!

Early contact by Elaine after we booked was great and in the week leading up to our stay she sent more information that we required. The listing and photos don't do this place justice - absolutely outstanding! The house has all the facilities you would need with the log burner being a plus on a cold November night. We would definitely recommend this listing to friends and family and would love to stay again.

Glad you enjoyed the stay. It is a lovely spot, the view over the Moray Firth with the snow on the hills beyond was amazing yesterday. You are welcome back anytime, though I can't guarantee such lovely weather.
