Our neighborhood is called The Lakes of Tempe and is the first master planned community in Arizona with a private lake. Our private 56-acre lake is one-of-a-kind and makes our home and community quite unique. You can even use our Kayak to get exercise or for a peaceful 'cruise' around the lake.
The Lakes of Tempe has some of the largest trees in the Phoenix area with homes having lush green lawns and beautiful landscaping.
Our home and neighborhood are quiet, peaceful and comfortable and just minutes from anything you want to do. Your oasis in the desert awaits you and we hope you will enjoy your stay.

Many Walking/Running/Biking Paths, Parks and mountain hiking trails are just a few minutes from our home.

Amy loves to travel with her partner, Paul, of 12+ years. When she is not working at Arizona State University, she teaches piano and plans their next vacation. She enjoys spending time with family, indoor rock climbing with Paul, making bread and (window) shopping.
Paul also loves to travel with his sweetheart, Amy, of 12+ years. He is an entrepreneur who operates two successful companies and, in his spare time, he enjoys riding his motorcycle and road bike, exercising, finding good deals, and planning their next adventure. Paul also organizes classical music concerts in their home.
Neither of us smoke, but do enjoy good wine and beer. The photos in our profile were taken in Taiwan, South Tyrol, Italy, French Riveria, Cinque Terra Grand Canyon, Tempe and on our boat in Arizona.
We are adventurous, inquisitive, fun, energetic and talkative, while being open-minded and respectful of all cultures and lifestyles. Becoming better people by learning about others and listening to their stories is what we enjoy most about our experiences through hosting and traveling using Airbnb. Traveling and exploring the world, meeting people and creating amazing adventures makes us really happy!
Our style of travelling is to become acquainted with the local customs, explore and experience the local scene as much as possible, while enjoying tasty and unique cuisine and beverages. We are self-sufficient and adventurous travelers willing to try many different things but certainly rely on our host's local advice for guidance. We are very clean, quiet and respectful travelers who will treat your place as if it is our own. We are also curious about our hosts and the things that make their home city so great.
Hosting travelers through Airbnb is a responsibility that we are thankful for, and our 'Superhost' status allows us to provide a wonderful service to many people. We tend to be very laid back when hosting, providing our guests with as much assistance or privacy as they desire.
We have hosted travelers from across the world and have ourselves traveled extensively abroad (Europe, Asia, Central America, South America) and in the US and have met the most fascinating people through hosting and traveling on Airbnb. We look forward to our next adventure!
