I checked in late evening. The host's friend met me at the lobby. The host could not be reached easly - she seems to be out of town.
It was a very tiny condo. A Kitchen on the hall way, bedroom has a queen bed, nothing else can fit in there, the tiny living room had a amall low seat kind sofa(Asian style), a desk with chair. No dining place. The bed was made with old sheets and an old, worn blanket for guest. No comforter or nothing. I asked more, they gave me a couple of duvet covers sheeta(old, worn). Towels were smelled weird (maybe from not drying well). No coffee cups, no wine glasses, no water as she promised at the begining. The house was full of host's own items including her own pictures on walls. I felt like staying someone's house for free, but the cost I paid was over $120 per night. TV was standed on the floor itself, without any tv stand or a table!! Plus all these, the sofa bed was so uncomfortable, my husband could not sleep there. I tried, and it hurt my back badly. 3 of us ended up sleep together on the bed. I asked her about thid extra bed before I reserved and she promised it was comfortable. But none of us can sleep there.
We ended up complain to AIRbnb and they got us out of there next day. We rented another airbnb condo in Gastown in much much better condition at the same rate! The host could not be reached till we got out and when finally reached, she complained that we complained! I returned the key about an hour later we checked out to her friend but the host sent me a message she would contact the local police for not returning the key! She was a terrible host we ever had....
The condo can be okay if you don't mind the old worn bed sheets, old blankets, tiny tiny rooms, smelly towels, no dining place, TV on the floor, and full of host's clutters. I think this host is trying to make way too easy money.
