We are located in the lovely Merchiston/Polwarth area of Edinburgh which is approx 15 minutes from the city via our award winning bus service and Tummel is a large room (ideal family room) which has two king sized double beds & travel cot if required. Enjoying exclusive use of the second floor in our family home. Shares shower room and kitchenette with Rannoch (listed separately).
Tummel is on the second floor of our home which is over 100 years old. City centre is easily accessible by foot or bus and the house is situated on the Union canal so you can watch the barges come and go.

We are more than happy to assist with anything you may need or are more than happy for you to 'rattle on' and do your own thing... I will provide orange juice, milk, cereals, tea, coffee, fruit, bread and butter in the kitchenette so you can have your breakfast at whatever time suits your plans.

I was born and raised in Edinburgh and being a cyclist have an intimate knowledge of the city where there's something for everybody. From the wonderful zoo for the children to lively pubs which are open until way later than is good for me to wonderful architecture and many places of historical significance.
We have four rooms to let in our home, all of which have been freshly decorated two of which are on the top floor and share a fresh, bright shower room.
Tummel, the larger of the two rooms on the top floor has two king sized double bed and with beautiful views over the North and West of the city and The Ochill hills beyond.
Rannoch is the smaller of the rooms but is still a very comfortable double room.
We have set up a small kitchenette to service Tummel and Rannoch which has a fridge, microwave, kettle and sink etc. Additionally we keep it well stocked with basics such as tea, coffee, fruit, preserves, milk, OJ and a wide selection of breakfast cereals etc.
I hope you will find a stay in our home offers you an ideal base from which to easily access the best of Edinburgh. We are more than happy to offer tips on places of interest and similarly give you the space and privacy to find your way. Additionally we have bikes for hire (including a tandem for the more adventurous) which you can use to access the vast network of local cycle paths which are easily accessible from our location.
I look forward to hearing from you and helping to introduce you to my amazing Capital city.
