Smoking – This is a non smoking apartment. If you do want a cigarette, please use the living-room balcony. There is an ashtray on the table outside and close the door.

Respect – We want you to relax and enjoy yourselves but please respect other residents and holiday-makers around you. Keep noise levels to a minmum especially in the corridors of the building and act in a correct and decent manner.

Pool – The pool is open from 8.00-22.00 and is situated on the roof. You can take the deck chairs from the apartment up onto the roof but please remember to bring them back when you have finished.

Laundry – There is a dedicated area on the roof to hang your washing or if there are small amounts then you can use the laundry rails in the utility balcony by the washing machine.

Itemised – Please note that everything in the apartment is itemised and a list is sent to me after every stay.

Books – You are welcome to swap any novels for other holiday-makers to enjoy.

Rented this apartment for 12 nights at the beginning of September 2017. Firstly, the booking process went really well and the owner forwarded a comprehensive welcome pack, together with the apartment keys, very quickly. The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor of a 4 storey building, the 4th storey housing the rooftop pool. All floors are served by both a lift and of course stairs. The village of Formentera is easily reached by car from the airport and while small, has some really good places to eat for 'menu del dia' lunches which average between 8 to 10 Euros for 3 courses plus a drink and coffee. There are two English run bars, as well as a Spanish owned bar, on the same street as the apartment which also serve food but we didn't eat there. Drinks are definitely cheaper (and in the case of spirits more generous) in the Spanish establishment. Evening meals are not really catered for in Formentera itself but we found plenty of places in the nearby town of Almoradi, as well as the seaside town of Guardamar to enjoy some very nice food. In this case it is probably a good time to mention that I would strongly suggest hiring a car- to try to go out to these places by public transport is nigh on impossible and hiring of taxis can be problematic, as well as expensive. On the ground floor of the apartment complex is a small supermarket which is actually quite well stocked, slightly dearer than Mercadona or Lidl but a lot more convenient so worth the extra. The apartment itself has two bedrooms one with a double bed, the other twin beds. There are two bathrooms, one ensuite to the master bedroom which includes a bath, both are equipped with showers. The master bedroom has its own balcony and the lounge area also. The kitchen is basically equipped with fridge freezer, oven, hob, microwave and a washing machine. The lounge is a decent size, equipped with a TV and dvd player but these we didn't use but it had a iPod speaker dock which we found very useful. This is not a cramped apartment at all, there were three people in our party and for us it was adequate in terms of space. I know that it sleeps up to 6 but I think that, especially if they were all adults or older children, might be stretching it a bit. For the price we paid for our stay I was happy with this apartment and found the owner very easy to deal with after we had booked.
