A detached family friendly bungalow a minute's walk from a fantastic beach at East Wittering. 0pen plan living and dining area, with patio doors onto a large, enclosed lawned garden. An ideal base for walking, swimming, cycling and local shops.

Le logement

Lubbers is a light-filled, spacious three bedroomed bungalow. Entrance to the property is through a large utility room, kitted out with washing machine, tumble-drier, iron, ironing board, sink, freezer and large storage cupboard. Perfect for dealing with all the sandy clutter from the beach! It has one double bedroom with kingsize bed, one bunk-bed bedroom and a twin bedroom, sleeping six in total. One bathroom with bath/shower, sink and toilet and a separate toilet. The large and sunny open plan kitchen/dining/living area has a flat screen freeview tv/dvd player, Wi-Fi, books and board games and plenty of comfy seating. The kitchen table seats 6 but can be extended to 8. The kitchen has integrated oven/hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and is well stocked with a good range of kitchen utensils.

Two sets of french doors lead outside to the terrace with table and chairs for 6. The garden is private with a large lawn and well stocked 'cottage garden' flower beds. There is parking for up to 2 cars (although you may need to keep the gates open for 2 cars, depending on car sizes) The garden with all gates shut is fully enclosed and safe for young children. East Wittering beach is two minutes walk from the front door and much quieter than the well known Blue Flag West Wittering beach which is 5 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk along the beach from the property.

All beds are made up with pure Egyptian cotton linens and towels. Please note we provide towels for the bathroom, but you will need to bring your own beach towels.

Lubbers is a brilliant place for a family visit - very clean, lots of space, good garden, quiet location but close to shops and amenities, and just a few minutes walk to the beach. Jonathan was very helpful throughout, and the family (four adults, two small children) had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Jonathan's cottage is an absolute gem, such great location, right next to the beach and some lovely restaurants :) The garden is wonderful, and beautifully kept. Jonathan was a very helpful host, and a real pleasure to rent from :)

Nothing to fault. Its a lovely sweet little place. Clean and spacious. Has everything you need. 2 minute walk to a small village with shops and cafes. Lovely large garden/patio area and plenty of space for cars to park securely on the drive. An overall lovely stay. Would recommend

Really nice house, great location for the beach and local cafes and shops. Private off-street parking and utility room a bonus. Would highly recommend.

Property is in wonderful condition and great for children with the enclosed garden. Property is well maintained and clean. It is 2 mins walk from the sea and the same again to all the local amenities you would need. Jon was accommodation and quick to respond to enquiries, I cannot recommend highly enough this place for either a short weekend or a week away

We had a fantastic time at Jonathan's house, which is ideally located 1 minute from the beach and around the corner from a good choice of shops and restaurants. The garden is private, very pretty and a great sun trap. The house is simple but well equipped. We hope to go back.
