Located in a quiet neighborhood, a 35 minute walk to Old City, the apartment is comfortable with bedroom, living /dinning room, kitchen, and laundry room. When I am away, it is all yours. When I am home, I will give you the bedroom. The advantage of me being there is that I will provide breakfast and usually a pot of soup, houmous, bread, etc. that you can have whenever you want. I also can tell you a lot about Jerusalem and sometimes take you around.
The two roomed furnished apartment is very cozy. The bedroom bed is extremely comfortable. A couple can easily enjoy the bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped. There is also a washing machine. I have an old record player and lots of records - jazz, rock n roll, ethnic, classical, bluegrass. The apartment is on the ground floor and is easily accessible with plenty of parking and near a good bus stop.
Accès des voyageurs
Guests will have complete access to everything in the apartment. If I am here, I will sleep in the living room. I come back fairly late most nights. In the morning I will make breakfast for everyone and most days, I am happy to share a nutritious hot soup with my guests. If you want complete privacy for a certain amount of time or nights, let me know and I will make other arrangements for myself. You do have a door to the bedroom and the living room is on the other side of the apartment which gives you privacy.

I will be home to let you in when you first arrive. I will give you a key and you can come and go whenever you want. In the mornings, I will prepare breakfast and then leave the house and come back most nights fairly late. If you are staying more than 3 or 4 days, I will be happy to take you in my car and show you some of Jerusalem that most tourists don't see. I will also be happy to tell you all about Jerusalem - where to go, what to see, what you can do for free, the best way to get places. I usually like to talk and if you want to bounce your reflections off someone or just ask any kind of questions, I will be happy to entertain conversations on any subject.
I have hosted over 200 people with Couchsurfing and Airbnb over the past 3 years. Everyone loves the space and the environment. I am sure that you will too.
I would prefer no smoking. Since the apartment is on the ground floor, if you have to smoke, you just need to open the door and you can walk out to the open passageway.
Also since I am not requiring a cleaning fee, I do expect that you will clean the apartment before leaving - strip the bed, vacuum the floors, even do a sponga (wet mop with detergent) on the floors, clean the fridge, throw out the garbage, and dust. If this is too much to ask, leave 60 NIS with my son who will do it for the next guests.
