Pros: *Excellent location. 5 minutes by foot from WestEnd City Center and the Western Railway Station. 10-12 minutes by foot from St. Stephen's Basilica. *Many excellent cafes and restaurants nearby. *Stable/fast internet. *Good heating system. *Equipped with most things you need for a longer stay. Cons: *The pictures you see do not give a fully accurate representation of the apartment. You can't see at all in them that the surface of certain areas of the floor has been damaged (or is possibly being sanded/renovated?). These areas include part of the floor in the hallway between the kitchen and bedroom as well as parts of the room that are blocked from the camera's perspective by the sofas in the first picture. Speaking of which - the sofas are no longer clean and white like in the picture...they are dirty and have stains. There is a little bit of what might be water damage to the floor under the refrigerator. The windows need maintenance/repair and have a lot of crumbling paint. The bed is on wooden slacks that are not the right size/thick enough. Because of this, they are not very stable and if you sit on the very bottom right corner of the bed...well, just don't test your luck. :)) The soap holder in the bathtub is a bit loose from the wall so you have to be careful with it. The bathroom door's handle is also a bit loose, so you have to be careful with it. It seems like the issues generally come from trying to cut corners or be cheap, which turns out to be the main negative impression I had from this stay. When I first arrived, there was a filthy pillow that did not even have a case on the bed. The toilet seat was also broken. The knives in the kitchen were so dull that I could not (no exaggeration) slice a ripe tomato with them! When I mentioned the toilet seat to Klari, she said it would be taken care of in two days..but it took six days for someone to finally come and replace the toilet seat. Then eventually someone came with a replacement pillow - which was just scrawny and as small as an airline one. Then someone came a few days after that to deliver a knife that was not even cleaned from its last use..and was only moderately sharper than the prior ones in the kitchen. As inexpensive as buying a new knife is in Budapest, I was amazed by how stingy a gesture that was. *Lastly, Klari does not always respond to you. Days or a week can go by. // So, with all of this in mind - you can choose if you want to stay or not. The problems with the apartment are mostly aesthetic, not functional. Still, I think the pictures are slightly misleading and the communication was inconsistent...even occasionally nonexistent. If communication had been better, I would probably have a much less negative impression.

Travelling around the world is one of the greatest things in my life, especially when i can do this with my 2 little children and my husband. The destination is no matter, important to be together!
But if i have to select, my favourite travel destinations are Bali and Mexico :-)
Things that i cannot live without: reading a good book and in the meantime drinking a glass of special red wine, movies, long walks in forests or at the seaside...
