Our lake house is on the west side of Seneca Lake, 5 miles south of Geneva. Beautiful sunrises. The outdoor deck is spacious and a favorite place to spend time w/ patio furniture and gas grill. Inside cozy main living area is an open plan for dining and relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped but for a dishwasher! Main level there is one small bathroom w/ a stand up shower. Up the steeper than normal stairs (please note this fact of small, steeper than normal staircase to bedroom) the master bedroom there is an amazing picture window overlooking the lake, plenty of storage area and a full size bed. We are uniquely situated to many sightseeing areas, wineries, state parks, historic venues and a marina for renting boats! (We have no working hoist) Private parking for 2 cars, wifi and a canoe w/ paddles and life jackets. Outside there is one flight of stairs from parking to house and another flight/half down to the yard, gardens, lake and dock. I am a painter and teach in the arts as well. I enjoy the outdoors whether it's for painting en plein-air, gardening, hiking, birding or swimming. I can't live without my veggies and locally sourced whole foods! I grew up in the beautiful Finger Lakes region and am happy to share it with others. I'm interested in biographies, documentary films, ecology and natural history. I enjoy meeting folks upon arrival and hearing their stories of travel, life and the Airbnb experience.
