Staying at Theresa's is a good way to be in the middle of the Kentucky hills, surrounded by nature and yet close enough to amenities and the interstate. It is relaxing to have your own suite on the second floor with a beautiful view. Theresa is friendly, well traveled and very helpful.

Our room was truly a serene retreat. The queen room was more like an apartment, with a balcony overlooking the mountains and forest. Theresa was a delightful and knowledgeable host, we enjoyed our breakfast conversation. We'll definitely stay there next time we visit Berea.

The stay at Theresa's lovely home was exactly what I was looking for. It's cozy and secluded and surrounded by the natural beauty. Everything was as expected. Theresa was very kind and personable and had great stories to share over breakfast. We enjoyed organic yogurt with granola and fruit, eggs, coffee, and juice for breakfast. I will definitely plan to stay here again and would recommend it for anyone. It's just a short drive to Berea and the Pinnacles for beautiful hiking and Theresa is helpful to give very clear and accessible directions and advice for experiencing the area!

My mom and I enjoyed our stay at Theresa's. She was very inviting and we loved that she sat and talked with us like we were old friend's. We even went down to visit with her horse Lala. Theresa also told us a bit about the area and places to eat. My mom and I slept like babies as the full moon filled our room. Thank you again Theresa for sharing your home with us.

We loved our stay with Theresa, who is a warm, caring and obviously experienced host. The room was clean, private, comfortable (including great temperature controls) and surrounded by beautiful trees that let in light throughout the day. The animals (dog, horse, cat) are very sweet (& quiet). We're so grateful for the restful, beautiful & informative time we got to spend here.

Woodland retreat was the perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I. Theresa's house is super close to the town of Berea and hiking the Pinnacles. Theresa gave us great suggestions/ directions of places in Berea KY and told us the best places to hike. She even make us breakfast in the morning which was super sweet of her. Theresa has lovely animals that were absolutely adorable and very sweet. We absolutely loved our stay!

We spent most of our time in town or visiting friends, so we only really slept there.

I am a teacher, counselor, environmentalist, and supporter of those who, like myself, are engaged in life's 'third act' as both explorers and guides. I have lived in four countries, visited a number of others, and enjoy the sharing of cultures, traditions, and insights that make our global village a very rich and precious community. I love reading, movies, outdoor activities like hiking and skiing, and sharing conversation along with a good meal.
