Description

SAVERIA is a 300 year old house, built in a small, cosy alley, at the very heart of Naxxar - one of Malta's oldest villages in central Malta.


The property still features the skill of masons from days gone by, with which, limestone walls, arched doorways, and wooden beams. Enjoy your holiday in a comfortable setting that respects the architecture of a typical village house, whilst being equipped with all the necessary amenities that will make your stay, a memorable one.

The house is laid out on 2 floors, with a main bedroom suite on the ground floor. This double-bed suite has an adjacent bathroom en-suite with a large shower. The suite has also a small sofa.

SAVERIA offers a fully equipped open kitchen and living area on the first floor. The kitchen includes all the cutlery, utensils, pots and pans required to prepare a healthy breakfast or a sumptuous dinner. It has a fridge, a freezer, a gas cooker, an oven, a microwave oven, a dishwasher and a kettle. For guests who prefer having an espresso in the morning, we also have an Italian coffee maker. Obviously coffee and tea (and some other basics) are on us!

The living area on the first floor has a 32-inch LED TV with TV box and a large sofabed for 2 persons.

On the first floor, there is also one double-bedroom. A bathroom with shower facilities is available on this floor.

Laundry facilities (washing machine, iron and iron-board) are also available in the property.

The house is complemented with a roof terrace, ideal for relaxing and dining.

The owners are having regular contact with the guests throughout their stay. Numbers for emergencies are also provided.

A historic village Naxxar is one of the most central places in Malta, enjoying easy access to various sights, attractions and other localities. Famous for its narrow historic streets and old quaint houses, It's a place where the authentic village-life still exists. Being a peaceful place during the night, it bursts into life at the village centre during the early morning hours, vegetable truck selling its products, local men gathering for morning chat and cafeterias opening their doors for breakfast.

Naxxar is also a locality with several wedding venues. Many guests who choose to stay in our house are often attending a wedding in the area. If your friends or relatives are having their wedding party in Naxxar, then this house would definitely be a great option for your accommodation.

Many other historic sightes and places are just short drive away from Naxxar. Some of the distances:

Malta Tourism Authority Licence HPC/4888/2

All accommodation on the Maltese islands are required by law to collect Environment Contribution i.e Eco Tax at €0.50 per adult (18 years +) per night, capped at €5 (maximum). This contribution is not included in the rental rate and has to be settled on arrival in cash.

20 units of electricity daily is included in the rental price which covers an average daily consumption. In case of over-consumption guests can purchase additional electricity cards (€20 per card).

CHECK-IN & CHECK OUT
The standard check-in time is after 2pm and check-out by 10am. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY
The maximum number of guests is limited to the number of persons booked. Children up to the age of 2 are free of charge.

SMOKING POLICY
This is a non smoking property. Smoking is only allowed on the terrace.

PETS
Pets are not permitted in rental units under any conditions.

INCLUSIVE FEES
Rates include a linen and towel setup per week. Water and 20 units of electricity daily is included in the rental price which covers an average consumption. In case of electricity over-consumption guests can purchase additional electricity cards (€20 per card).

HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE
While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is NOT included in the rental rate. We do not permit bath towels or linens to be taken from the property, but we provide extra beach towels for your use.

WATER CLOSET
DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the drainage system, you could be charged damages of up to two hundred Euro (€200).

TV & WiFi
TV is provided and service level has been chosen by the host. No refund of rents shall be given for outages, content, lack of content, or personal preferences with regard to TV service. High speed wireless internet is provided as a convenience only and is not integral to the booking. No refund of rents shall be given for outages, content, lack of content, speed, access problems, lack of knowledge of use, or personal preferences with regard to internet service.

AIR CONDITIONING (Heating & Cooling)
The guests agree that air conditioning shall not be set below 21 degrees Celsius and heat shall not be set above 26, and that the fan setting shall be “Auto”. Doors and windows shall be closed when either heat or air conditioning is in operation. Air Conditioning units shall NOT be left switched on whilst the room or the premises are unoccupied. If it is found that the air conditioning unit has not been switched off before leaving the room or premises, you could be charged up to twenty Euro (€20) a day.

FALSIFIED BOOKINGS
Any guests making a booking under false pretense will not be permitted to check in.
