À propos de ce logement
Sit in the porch swing and watch the river, deer, squirrel and wild turkeys. The hot tub will soak your bones and revive you at the end of a long, fun-filled day. Beautiful Blanco River access, 1-minute walk, that will delight you to the max.
Our cottage has one private bedroom and a semi-private loft bedroom upstairs. Both rooms have queen beds. There's also a queen size sleeper sofa, (and these are never real comfy, are they)? They're fine for young people. However, our beds are really comfy. Once everyone is in bed, you cannot see the other beds: One bedroom is off the living room downstairs with a door that closes, the other bed is in the loft upstairs, and lastly, there's a couch that makes into a bed. Everyone has some privacy!
We do allow dogs, but there is a charge for them. So when you Request to Book, please tell me so I can add the dogs. The fee is $35 for the first dog and $20 for the second. You'll also need to pay for guests five and six. It's $20 per person, per night.
We don't do one-night bookings on Friday and Saturday nights. Please don't request to book one night on these nights. If you need one night for Sunday through Thursday nights, ask. :) We will consider it.
There's free wireless Internet, Direct TV, washer and dryer, and a full kitchen with a full-size fridge.
There's plenty of parking available in the driveway.
Please contact us to hear more about our place. It's right down the street from our full-time home, where we've had a bed and breakfast for 15 years. We enjoy helping people get to know Wimberley and the beautiful Blanco River, but we also respect their privacy. You're on your own unless you ask.
You can search Ramsay's Cozy Cottage in Wimberley to see photos of this place and also Ramsay House B&B. Please do keep in mind that this is Wimberley, and this neighborhood literally grew up from campsites in the early '70s to what it is today. It's funky and wonderful, and there's no better place to get in the river than one of our two coveted waterfront parks. We pay our neighborhood association per year for our guests to have access to these parks; otherwise, it's off limits to the public! So here's your chance to wade and float, kayak, and fish and swim in the Beautiful Blanco River and literally walk back and forth to your cottage for a nap in between trips.

PS: You can barbecue or just sit by an outdoor fire pit (check the local burn ban before starting a fire, please). The hot tub is right next to the cottage. Please remove the cover properly and ask us if you don't know how to take it off. It is very heavy and there is a simple method that makes opening and closing it a snap!
Wimberley shopping is nearby, just a few minutes away. We are three and a half miles from the square.
Though we would love to greet our cottage guests, they come in at different times, and we don't know when they arrive because we can't see the cottage from our home just up the street. We enjoy meeting guests and helping them, so we're always open to their calls. We travel ourselves, and if we're not here, there will be someone available to help you if you have a question.
Please bring extra towels for the hot tub and robes if you want them. Extra paper towels and tp are in the little building out back.
Leave your valuables at home! We won't be responsible for them.
Thank you for your consideration.
Cynthia and Charles Ramsay

The cottage is situated across the street from the beautiful Blanco River in Wimberley, Texas, just like many of the homes along River Road. It's pure magic!
The lot across the street isn't ours, so please walk out the cottage front door, down to the road (Edgewater), turn right (west) and walk about 100 yards ti the gate that says no tresspassing. Unlock the gate with the key that is provided and lock it back behind you. Or you can put the youth kayaks and paddles in your vehicle and drive down there. Or walk or drive to the end of Edgewater and River Road and use the large park. The entrance is off of River Road.
You'll have the hot tub all to yourselves!

If we're home, we would love to meet you. If you need us, just text or call.
Please read the details about the cottage thoroughly. It answers most of your questions. Then fill out the booking form and include ALL the guests and pets, including any day guests. It should auto-calculate the information. If at that point you're interested, go ahead and send us a request for availability. Thanks so much for your interest in our cozy cottage. We know you'll love it as much as we do!
If you have a pet, we do charge per pet. It is $35 for the first dog and $20 For the second dig. We charge this again if You stay longer than seven days. You can't board a pet for that. We pay our housekeepers more money when a pet has stayed so the next guest will never know whether a pet has stayed previously or not. :)
No smoking indoors, please, but outdoors is ok. Keep the hot tub covered when not in use. Dont strip your beds upon departure. Do your own dishes and load and start the dishwasher. Call us or text us if you need something. Thanks for choosing to stay at the cozy cottage. My best,

Greetings, Fellow Travelers!
I'm a retired court reporter and now an Airbnb host. It gives me great pleasure to welcome guests and answer any questions they may have.
There's just nothing like taking a break from the lives we lead to head off for a new adventure. Whether you're going to a nearby town or around the world, it's just plain fun to get away and experience life like locals of other cities, states, and countries.
My husband is semi-retired and helps me a lot. We try to greet guests at our suites and sometimes we get to meet our guests who check in at the cozy cottage and answer any questions, then you're on your own. Experiencing new things is nice, along with having plenty of privacy, and that's what we provide at all three of our locations.
Wishing you all the best traveling adventures.
