Camel Trek "Berber Night"- 1 night in Erg Chebbi
This trip begins after a relaxed lunch (depending on when you arrive). The camels will be packed with food, blankets and everything else which we will need. The trek will start right into the desert, where it is completely secluded. The path we take will lead us to a small oasis right in the middle of the dunes. This is where we will spend the night. It will be a magical night when the sky is clear of cover and stars sparkle and shine with intensity.
After a wonderful dinner, we will build a campfire and play drums and sing the songs of the Berber, Toureg and southern Moroccans.
In the morning you can get up early take a walk over the sand dunes and watch the sunrise from just behind the Algerian border, which is about 50km from Merzouga.
You will be given the opportunity of take nice pictures before and after breakfast and then you will be brought back to the Hotel which is where the tour ends.

Hassan, Berber origin, son of nomadic family Berber and knowledgeable about the desert as one because since childhood he has accompanied travelers to know and enjoy, since very little was given the responsibility of looking after the sheep and camels of his father. When he was 7 years old he entered the school in Hassi labied and remained there through high school. Lahcen felt the urge to return to the desert because he could not forget the lifestyle there. Hassi labied where Hassan lives now, it is a small village located south of Rissani on the way to Merzouga, near the dunes of Erg Chebbi..

Trips To Desert is a professional tourism company based in Merzouga in the south east of Morocco.
We would like to share with you the magic of the south of Morocco, the dunes and the Sahara, the mountains, sand dunes and rivers, nomadic life and life in the oasis, nomads and small berber villages. We offer a selection of trips and Day Trips of varying lengths and destinations to explore and discover this other Morocco full of peace, charm, simplicity and starlit nights.
The desert is another dimension, a world apart from what we know and expect. In the expanse of the dunes there are no distractions to appreciating man’s greatest treasure – his own soul. Nothing exists but the undulating sand, the expansive sky, the moon, the stars and silence. Here, there is room for meditation; reflection on the essence of life and the magic within it.
The power of the desert is omnipotent with the sudden rising of the winds, the shifting sands and the constant need to search for life giving water. The desert’s secret touch is about learning our own humility and coming away from this sacred place with each memory and experience etched into our minds, providing us with priceless treasures.
All this is part of the many treasures of Morocco: the sunset or sunrise with the dawning of a new day, in the heat of midday or the cool of evening, when the colours of the dunes shimmer and reflect inimitable hues or, trekking on a camel, sharing the rhythms of life of a nomad berbers in sahara. With us from Trips To Desert - even if only for a few days or hours – you will savour the spirit of the desert and begin to understand why the world’s three great religions of the book stemmed from here. And all of this is for the single reason; that no value may be placed on the desert because man is exposed to the desert’s whims
