À propos de ce logement
This 1919, 2-bedroom house is a comfortable place for 2-4 people to stay, in a relatively quiet neighborhood a few miles from downtown Berkeley. It has a backyard deck off the kitchen that makes for a good way to enjoy Northern California weather. A few conveniences include nearby organic grocery store, bakery, sushi restaurant and beer garden. BART is a 15-minute walk or 5-minute drive.
Welcome to my charming 1919 two bedroom house with a yard 5-minute drive from North Berkeley BART. You can walk to Monterey Market, cafes and bakeries. The kitchen opens onto backyard deck. There is Internet access, easy parking, and there are two cats that will be inside the house. There are two bedrooms upstairs, with one set up as a den with a portable airbed. The yard includes 9 rose bushes, wisteria, jasmine and flowering crabapple, ash, birch and persimmon trees.
North Berkeley is absolutely the perfect spot for a date night or even a casual evening out on the town. There are street vendor events, vintage bauble wares, and patisserie shops make my area perfect for culinary junkies and craft enthusiasts.
One huge event is the Gourmet Ghetto, which is located near by and runs along Shattuck Avenue. The Gourmet Ghetto earned its name from the multitude of famous eateries along its main commercial strip. Foodies will be in heaven among our world-renowned restaurants. If fancy cuisine's not your thing, there are plenty of boutique shops and frequent festivals here to keep you occupied as well. Surrounded by gorgeous turn-of-the-century houses and charming midcentury apartments.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
Originally from Indiana and then moved to Berkeley in 1979. I've been living here for almost 30 years and I absolutely love it here. I love to bike ride, play bridge, read, and travel. I'm looking forward to Hosting on Airbnb!
