Casa Branca is a charming building from the early twentieth century, located near the St. George´s Castle. we also own two more apartments:

The apartment consists of 2 bedrooms: one double and one single. It is ideal for couples or groups up to 4 people.
The decoration has classical look, maybe a little vintage, with some Morocco inspiration (specially the rooms). The main room has a nice courtyard.

The apartment is on the ground floor (that corresponds to a 1st floor) of "Casa Branca" and there is no elevator.
Our beds from the main bedroom are extremely comfortable, generously sized and, in the main bedroom, we can convert it to a queen size, if requested in advance. The small room is appropriate for one person or even for a couple since the bed is 1,40*1,90.
We have mostly products made in Portugal.
The kitchen also has everything necessary for cooking meals and eating at home.
When our guests arrive we want them to be relaxed, so you will have some basics for the breakfast next morning.
The bathroom is equipped with an electric towel rail, a heater and a hairdryer.
We installed heaters in the main room and also in the living-room that permits to have a very nice temperature during the winter.

We will give you useful tips and information on arrival by providing some city maps, information on restaurants, where the shops are, fairs, availability of transport, cultural events, etc. We want to make your stay at Casa Branca as pleasant as possible so that you will want to come back again.
Casa Branca is 5 minutes Downtown and also to Avenida da Liberdade, where you can do some serious shopping. Besides being a beautiful avenue, it is known for its luxury shops with international brands. There are also very nice outdoor cafes, theaters, etc.
Chiado is near Casa Branca and we are also close to Bairro Alto, the bohemian neighborhood. There you can find alternative shops, great restaurants and of course lots of bars, for those who want to have fun in the Lisbon night.
Being downtown you quickly reach the waterfront, that was recently requalified to allow pleasant walks along the river, as well as cycling, running, enjoying a drink or simply relaxing.
At Cais do Sodré (a 20 minute walk from the house) there is a train station that takes you to Sintra or Cascais.
Since 1st January 2016 we are obliged to charge an occupancy touristic tax: 1€ per person per night, charged to guests aged 13 and older. This value is not included in the total price of the stay. This tax will be also charged through airbnb, as a second payment; and the maximum amount won´t exceed 7€ per guest, according to the legislation. We apologize for any inconvenience, but that´s the only way we can control this tax and pay the city administration
The minimum stay is 2 nights. We ask guests to keep the apartment in good condition. If the stay exceeds 7 nights, an extra clean and a change of towels and bed linen will be made mid-stay (the charge is €30)

After 9pm, we charge 30€ fee and after 12pm is requested the approval of the host.
we ask for the information of the arrival at least 24 hours before the check-in. Anyway the fee will be charged, whenever possible, through airbnb and at the same time we'll charge the touristic tax, for our convenience and of our guests too.
Pets are not allowed.
Smoking is not permitted in the apartment (there is a balcony)
Parties are not allowed in the apartment.
Noise is not permitted from 10pm in consideration of the other guests.
We are environmentally friendly, therefore we recycle and containers are left for that purpose in the kitchen.You are requested to leave the rest of the garbage in the bin outside Casa Branca, which is collected daily.
With regard to the consumption of electricity and water, we ask guests to be careful.
