I began my child welfare social work career in 1991 and hold District of Columbia and Maryland clinical licenses. I serve on the Center for Infant and Child Loss’ Advisory Committee, am a certified grief specialist, facilitate a support group, and counsel newly bereaved parents. I have published a book, “Mommie’s Bright Sunshine,” which details my experience in overcoming tragedy. I conduct training while parenting two children, one who joined the family by adoption and one by birth.
