Breakfast will be provided in large kitchen/family room or garden weather permitting. There is also use of a washing machine and dryer.

I will generally be here during the guests' visit and be happy to assist them in any way possible to make the most of their time here.

We are a 10 minute walk from Hampton Court Palace, one of the greatest Royal Palaces in the UK, which has just celebrated its 500th anniversary. Home to Henry VIII, one can easily spend a day exploring the Tudor Palace State Rooms and Kitchens, as well the Baroque Palace by Christopher Wren.

Apart from the Palace itself and its world famous formal gardens, other points of interest for visitors include the celebrated maze, the historic real tennis court, and the huge grape vine, claimed to be the largest and oldest in the world.

Every year the Palace is home to a food festival, the Hampton Court Palace music festival and Hampton Court Palace Flower Show.

We are within walking distance from both Home Park and Bushy Park, both Royal Parks. Aside from the formal gardens of Hampton Court, the Parks have woodland gardens, lakes and open grassland which are home to herds of wild deer.

Being a stone's throw from the river there are a number of boat trips available. In the summer months one can travel along the Thames from Hampton Court Palace all the way to central London by boat, a fascinating journey.

Sandown Park and Kempton Park race courses are only ten minutes away.

There are many picturesque local pubs with excellent pub food, both overlooking the River Thames and in the villages of Thames Ditton and East Molesey, as well as good restaurants nearby. We are happy to provide details.

Kingston is an ancient Market Town, within half an hours walk along the river or a short bus ride away, and is now a busy shopping centre with many pubs and restaurants, cinemas and a theatre.

Both Thames Ditton and Hampton Court train stations are within 10 minutes walking distance. The trains lead straight into Waterloo station in central London, only 35 minutes away. Heathrow airport is 20 minutes by car or the 111 bus goes directly to Heathrow.
Gatwick airport is 35 minutes by car or an hour by train.
We are also happy to provide a dedicated parking space.

We have another large double bedroom available, with exclusive use of a bathroom.
Please feel free to enquire.

Règlement intérieur

We would like our guests to treat our home as their own and behave as they would in their own home. We do not allow smoking in the house but are happy for guests to smoke in the garden. We have a dog, Dexter, a Schnauzer, who is hypoallergenic and does not shed hair, so do not think it advisable to bring other pets into the house.
