Turn the living room into a home theatre, dining room or bedroom with clever furniture that can be customised to suit your needs. Whether it's for a couples retreat or a few friends travelling together, Clark transforms to accommodate.

Le logement

Clark is transforming apartment specially-designed to make the best use of all the available space. The dining table unfurls from what at first appears to be just a cabinet of drawers and can be accompanied by up to four sturdy folding chairs. The super comfy couch also folds out to a double bed for extra guests, or a comfortable spot to watch a movie or play a game on the enormous, electronic retracting cinema screen. Oh and the screen - it is nearly three metres wide and accompanied by an XBOX ONE, and Samsung 7.1ch sound system with Blue-ray and smartTV capabilities for an incredible cinema or gaming experience. This may make it difficult to leave the apartment for some of those needing to catch up on a few episodes of Game of Thrones or dominate a couple of rounds of COD. Fear not, you can always come back and stay again to see the bits of Melbourne you may have missed ;)

The master bedroom features a hotel quality, medium-firm, king sized bed that can split into two singles if needed to be set up as twin share. Full length mirrors on the wardrobes house plenty of space for guests with a chest of drawers to store your things and space for luggage.

The kitchen is fully equipped with Smeg appliances, high quality toaster and kettle, TeFal non-stick cookware and enough decent knives for you to cook up a storm. The balcony includes some nice deck chairs and a table area for relaxing on balmy afternoons or to catch your breath with a glass of wine after a day of exploring.

Arrivals to this apartment are super easy and can be arranged any time between 10-7pm subject to availability of the apartment and later than 7pm, by setting a time in advance by lockbox out front if you're getting in quite late.

- When checking out, please leave the apartment in a clean and tidy manner.
You don’t need to mop and vacuum but please remember this is someone’s home and to put things back where you found them. 
- Keep noise down after 9pm and be respectful of our neighbours. 
- If there is a medical emergency, fire or matters requiring police assistance, please contact 000 and consult the fire safety manual.
For other matters, phone us. 
- It is your responsibility to lock the apartment when you are not inside and to turn off the fans, lights, heaters and TV. Plus, saving the environment makes you cool. 
- We do not accept responsibility for loss of property. If you realise you have left something in the apartment after check-out please phone us and we can arrange to have it returned to you.

Location is absolutely perfect, 30seconds walk to southern cross, getting to anywhere is convenient. Apartment was great and comfortable. Would definitely choose again if I visit Melbourne again.

Linton's place was a premier location. Excellent choice for female travelers traveling solo. The video screen was a fun touch!

Everything is same as the picture, even better. Good location. You can go anywhere conveniently. Linton is friendly, warm, helpful and handsome as well :p I would definitely come back if I visit Melbourne again.

Loved the location, very close to southern cross station and tram stops along with nightlife and shopping close by. The apartment was a very good layout so it did not feel small. Would happily stay here again!

We had mixed feelings about this apartment – when we arrived the bathroom drains were blocked and the smell made the bathroom unusable. The lounge/sofa bed was broken and not disclosed to us, and several of the advertised features such as the apple TV and the knife set were missing. Some of the previous guest’s belongings were also left behind in the bedroom. The lounge was temporarily fixed by the management but it did mean that we have to leave it in the bed configuration, but the drains in the sink continued to be a problem for most of our week long stay. The location is excellent in regards to transport and the projector TV screen is however a great addition. We stayed during the week and unfortunately had to keep the blinds down for privacy as the balcony looks directly into adjacent office building windows. The building also had two evacuations during our stay, which is not at all the fault of Linton, but talking to other residents did seem like it was common occurrence for the building and something we should note. If you’re sleeping in the bed as a double, be aware that the join makes the centre of the bed uncomfortable, but this isn’t a problem in the twin set up. Wouldn’t stay here for an extended period again, but for a short weekend stay it would be okay.

Some of my most memorable trips have been couch-surfin across Russia while taking the Trans Siberian, living in Helsinki and learning to hand build furniture, riding a vintage steel bicycle through France to race in L’Eroica and buying a car on craigzlist in Los Angeles and driving across the south, east and north coasts to arrive in Vancouver.
