The house is lovely and fresh, peaceful and comfortable. A real home from home with everything you could want or need. There are views of both mountain and sea with the nearest quiet beach a 5 minute walk away where you find bars and restaurants. Near Port Aventura, water parks.

Le logement

The house is clean and modern, built in 2006. It's the perfect place for families. It has three double bedrooms, two twins and one king size bed. There is an additional soda bed in the lounge. The master bedroom has French doors to a large terrace, perfect for relaxing in the sun or entertaining with large corner sofa and sun loungers. The views from here of sea and mountains are gorgeous, often with amazing sunsets. The house is perfect for all ages. For children there are secure gates to the front and side of the house. The quiet street entrance has a secure entry intercom system and there is a gate from our garden to the pool for peace of mind. For older guests, those who need or prefer to be on the level, or those simply wanting a little more privacy from the rest of the house, there is a twin bedroom on the ground floor with its own access and door to close off from the living areas, as well as it's own toilet/shower room. The lounge opens onto the garden via Patio doors to a private garden which is not overlooked. There are two large dining suites as well as an enclosed lounging terrace if you prefer a little shade. There are shady trees and an outside barbecue for Al fresco dining. It's a lovely place to be any time of day or evening. From here there is gated access to the pool to keep it safe for little ones. The house is on a wide quiet street with limitless free parking, we also have secure off street parking next to the house. Unfortunately due to a bad experience with clients from Airbnb, no groups of teenagers, stag or hen parties are permitted. Our home and community is not suitable for such groups. Family groups and groups of friends are most welcome, but not 18 year olds!!

You have the entire home to yourselves as well as your own private off street parking (although it is a very quiet and wide open street so parking on the road-side is also absolutely fine). There is a lovely private garden as well as communal gardens and pool. Although the pool is shared with five other houses, as these are second homes and not rented, you generally have the pool to yourselves.

While you are staying at the house we have our own agent there who is available to help if you ever need him. We too are also contactable if you prefer by phone, text or email. We are happy to help in any way we can to help you have the most enjoyable stay possible.

Le quartier

Our urbanisation, Masos D'en Blade is in a beautiful, natural spot about a five minute walk to our unspoilt beach where you will find your choice of bars and restaurants. There is a small supermarket on this beach which is ideal for all the essentials plus fresh bread and croissants in the mornings. For larger shops, Miami playa situated a kilometre away has several large supermarkets. Cambrils is the gastronomic capital of Catalunya. It is a fishing town with plenty of activity. It is a short drive (6 mins) from the house. It is also close to the action of Port Aventura and the water parks in la Pineda (15 min drive). It is nice to visit these places and retreat to the tranquility of the house. The area is close to great infrastructure with main roads, motorways and rail links, but without the associated noise. There are buses which can take you to Cambrils, Tarragona, Barcelona, as well as trains. There are taxi numbers at the house.


We find having a car is most ideal and cost effective, although not essential. From April-October there is a small supermarket on our local beach which is fine for top-ups and for your fresh bread and croissants in the morning. If you want a big shop to get you started the large supermarkets are about a kilometer away for which I would suggest a taxi if you do not have a car. There is a great selection all within this distance. Many guests do it this way and it seems to work well. There are various buses and train services.

Nous avons passé un séjour agréable dans la bourgade de Miami Platja, la maison correspondait bien aux photos de l'annonce malgré une petite méprise sur la piscine qui n'était pas privée mais commune a 4 maisons, nous avons aussi rencontré un problème quand au débit d'eau ; celui-ci ne ne permettant pas de nous servir des 2 salles de bains simultanément.

The description of the house does not claim to have a private pool. It states that the pool is shared among the houses, although the majority of the time you have the pool to yourselves as it is very quiet and peaceful. Regarding the water supply, we own the house and are a family of six who regularly take the grandparents to to house and the water supply is always plentiful. As no problem was reported by the 8 guests during their stay, I will need to investigate if there was some other problem at that time. In our 6 years of owning the house we have encountered no problem at all with the abundance of water for showers, appliances etc, and we have never had it brought to our attention by any previous guest.

We had a lovely stay here. The house was great and we particularly liked the 1st floor veranda of an evening. The kids loved the pool too and spent most of the day in the water. Felt very safe too. Great location and just a short walk to a quiet beach and a few good bars/restaurants. Pauline was very helpful and accommodating and communication great. Thank you very much for allowing us to use your Spanish home from home.
