At 17 , fresh out of high school I put together $500 with a pick-up truck to start my first business Moore Moving. I had experience in the moving business- my father Tim Moore founded Canada’s largest moving company AMJ Campbell in the 1970's. Nailing advertisements to telephone poles and hiring helpers from poor parts of town, I began to make my own way- all the while keeping the values my father taught me of positive attitude, personal selling and customer service close at heart.

During my freshman year at Saint Mary's University, I bought a rooming house near Dalhousie with the money made from moving gigs. After finishing my degree with honors, I went to the Schulich School of Business to study my masters. With an MBA under my belt, I decided to travel and ended up in Sweden, where I attended Lund University to study finance and learn Swedish. My time abroad shed light on unique ways to approach the traditional, while giving me more tools to solve business issues creatively.

Once back home in 2011, I completed my CPA, real estate brokers course and started buying, renovating and furnishing apartments with my brother and father. I combined the functionality, character and comfort I'd seen during my travels with flexible lease options- and the business started to grow.

Today, I'm a partner Moore Suites, Mary Queen of Scots Inn, Moore Moving and Oceanstone Resort. The businesses continue to grow but one thing remains the same- my commitment to quality and service.
