This small town is the perfect place for family-friendly fun—a waterfront park, the Strand (a local sandy beach), a market, restaurants, as well as tennis and basketball courts right in the center of town and all within walking distance of your house. There are no stoplights in Oxford and the speed limit is a slow and lazy 25 mph. Leave the car parked while you meander the tree lined streets by foot or on your bikes, take in the rich sense of history, enjoy high end dining or relax at a waterfront crab house and enjoy the best ice cream on the Delmarva Peninsula--Scottish Highlands Creamery. Take in one of the many Regattas, or enjoy a walking the town to see the charming old Inn, with some rich history, a miniature library, the charming museum or shop at the bookstore or small gift and antique shops. The town market has everything you could need from groceries to prepared foods and to steaks and fish and plan to visit the Wednesday farmer’s market for fresh produce and trinkets.
A short ride on the Oxford Bellevue Ferry in town makes day trips to St. Michaels and Easton easy and fun.
The house is a no smoking house and no pets. Please treat East Wind with respect and have fun. And please respect our neighbors!
