This is a great remodeled home in a neighborhood that you can spend weeks exploring all of the fabulous dining spots! Check out my guidebook with all of my close by favorites!
This is a classic and thoughtfully remodeled 1911 Craftsman style Portland bungalow. There are two guest rooms, each with a separate listing. The home has hardwood floors, it's well insulated, forced air heat, and a tankless on demand hot water heater so you will always have a hot shower! Ceramics, sculpture, paintings, and prints are throughout the house. My ceramic studio is in the basement.
The location is near the Alberta Arts district, close to three bus lines and not too far from the Max line. Walk or easy bike to co-op and several grocery stores, seasonal farmer´s markets are nearby on Saturdays and Sundays, N Williams and Mississippi Ave also nearby for lots of great restaurants, coffee shops, live music, Peninsula Park historic rose garden, library, and so much more! It's an easy 15 minute drive to the airport or the Pearl District and Downtown.
Some of the best food that Portland has to offer is located right in the neighborhood. The options seem endless, but if you need suggestions, I have lived here a long time and know many of the best places to dine and drink and see a show.
The two bedrooms are on the main floor on either side of the shared bathroom. There is a comfortable memory foam and spring style queen size bed, dresser, spacious closet, and a small desk.
The kitchen is spacious and filled with lots of handmade dishes. Filtered water is on the refrigerator door and a coffee maker and grinder are available.
There is a nice front porch with sitting area and landscaped yard with lots of large trees, native style garden and patio seating in the back.

I'm a ceramic artist and also teach classes. I spend my free time cooking, working in the yard, making things, and enjoying good wine, beer, and food. I've been in Portland for almost 20 years and living here suits me well! I love the food and drink scene here, and regularly go out to visit art galleries and live music.
