À propos de ce logement
It has been a wonderful space for encountering people, dining, BBQing... With all my kitchenware and my passion for food, I've been collecting for the past years all the necessities for enjoying life (Music, food, drinks, games). All I can do now is to share it with others.
Accès des voyageurs
The location is ideal for a newcomer. It is situated in Côte-des-neiges west of Mount Royal, heart of the city. Major bus-lines (165,11) can get you through all the central neighborhoods (Plateau, Mile-End, Downtown, St-Henri, Griffintown, Old Port) in 10-20 minutes more or less. Metro station Côte-des-neiges is a 8 minutes walk and all commodities are at 5 minutes walk (Grocery, Drugstore, Liquor store).

if you want to, I can help you with advices in your little trip. Or even hanging out and seeing Montreal through my eyes.
Côte-des-neiges is renowned for its multicultural aspect. With all this blend of culture (Asian, African, Middle Eastern), you'll be drown in falafel, shish taouk, Miso soup and others. Start with a walk in the mount, spy on all families and active people enjoying the sun and the nature . Stop by St-Joseph Oratory to catch an awesome view of the North and try to climb all the stairs all the way through on your knees.
The Blue Metro line is the nearest line you'll catch. At Côte-des-neiges metro station 8 minutes from the block by walk. But, I prefer traveling by bus. It is normally the same time even shorter for most of the main neighborhoods. 165 South bus line will drop you Downtown in 10 minutes and directly on the Green metro line which serve all downtown, Quartier Latin & Quartier des spectacles. 11 East bus line is the one crossing Mount Royal. You can get on the top in 5 minutes or in the Plateau/Mile-End in 10 minutes. 51 Est bus line is an alternative from 11 to get to Plateau/Mile-End. But the easiest way through Montreal on a sunny day is by bike. BIXI station are everywhere in the city. All you need is a map and a credit card to rent them.
Please be civilize. What you don't want to happen to your home, don't do it to other's. No smoking inside. Try to be reasonable with noise. If you want to borrow some stuff feel free to ask me.
